Summer is here. Bake something summery :). March 27, 2012. Jidáše s medem (Judases with Honey). I haven't even had time to "recover" (read lose those unwanted pounds) from Christmas holidays and now Easter is here. It seem to come so soon to me :D If you don't know what to bake for this festival, you may try several of my traditional and less traditional recipes :) Every year (I serious - EVERY year) I bake Hot Cross Buns. This yeasted one not so traditional but absolutely delicious! A pinch of salt.

Friday, April 24, 2009. A Cookie for your thoughts. Okay so I love making delicious sugar cookies and decorating them for any occasion.I usually decorate them with a royal icing. I adapted the recipe for the royal icing from Joy of Baking. SweetBakedLove's Royal Icing Using Egg Whites. 500 gram bag of icing sugar (approx 4.5 cups). 2 tsp lemon juice. 8-9 tbsp cold water. I made these cake pops for a friend's birthday. I love cake pops because:. 1 They are small and super cute. 2 It's just like a cake but smaller so you can enjoy 1 or 2. 3 Not as time consuming to make as a cake :). Thursday, July 19, 2012. Honeyed Cinnamon Pistachios.Oh Beehive! Well it's been a sweet month so far, literally speaking. The busy little bees have filled the hives with beautiful sweet honey. And I have been spending my days extracting the liquid gold. Oh how I love honey. It's so yummy especially when you're extracting honey and snacking on fresh honey. Sunday, December 25, 2011. Waking up leisurely to a bowl of yogurt and granola on the last day of school is pretty much my definition of a great start to the holidays. Yogurt and granola just makes me so. happy. So I have a thing for yogurt and granola. It started with my younger brother and his unhealthy obsession with cereal.
