Jeremy, Amy, Connor, Aiden, Whitney, and Kayla. Monday, June 30, 2014. We started our summer reading on the first day. I wonder how long it will last this year? Jeremy got tickets for all of us to go to a Royals game! We tried to tailgate but it started to drizzle on us. It was unusually COLD for a summer night in June but we still had so much fun! Anna, our new aupair, at her first American baseball game! My parents came for a quick visit! Whitney lost her first tooth. The Country Club Plaza.

We decided since Monday was an American Holiday (President's Day) and not an Italian Holiday that it would be the perfect day to go to Carnivale in Venice - I was hoping it wouldn't be very crowded but. it was. Maybe because we went the day before Fat Tuesday. I don't know. Either way, we had so much fun! We started our trip by walking from our house to the train in our little town. Got on the train with no problems! I was so glad!

Jeremy got half of the chairs done just in time! The morning of the 4th started out with the Ward breakfast and activities. Next we went out to a field in Louisberg to set off our fireworks with Jeremy's uncle and cousin. Feeding the fish and frogs and whatever else was in there. Anna and Parker waiting for the show. Running away as fast as possible.

We were blessed with beautiful weather over the weekend though and finally got to tackle some of the yard. Our yard is massive! Jeremy actually had to buy a riding lawn mower this weekend or else there would be no way we could ever keep up with it! Thank goodness we have 2 strong boys who are money motivated. :). My little jungle boy!

Wednesday, September 3, 2014. We got to travel to Kansas this month for a family reunion. I was really excited to go since I hadn't seen anyone for quite a while. It took us 14 long hours to get there with our A/C sporadically working, but it was worth it and we made it fun. I got to see my parents and all of my siblings, except for Heather and her family, (we missed you guys! It was a great weekend. First, we made it to Eugene and Cyndi's house, and woke up to bacon and eggs! Even my MOM went swimming!
