Sunday, 15 August 2010. Went to see Martin Creed's 'Down Over Up' exhibition at the Fruitmarket today. I was really interested in his ideas about ascending and descending and also his Scotsman Steps project. I wasn't really convinced by the work though. It's almost too obvious, but I'm pretty sure that's intentional and it's actually about the juxtaposition of the different works that becomes the work.
