The Wolffs: July 2010
http://chadandnaomiwolff.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 20, 2010. I've been wanting to do this post for some time now and not too sure why I've been putting it off. It might just be that I didn't think I could express on paper (well, computer) just how I really feel. So here I am giving it a try. On April 21, 2010, at 7:30am I received a phone call from my mom letting me know that my grandma Belle Forsyth Smith had passed away at the age of 96. Yes, we all knew it was going to come but no matter, the news still rattled my heart. Oh, how I love p...

John is enjoying his work (and we are enjoying the free tix we've gotten to the Jazz games from work with dinner and snacks included.wahoo). He's still home for dinner every night! He got called to be 2nd counselor in Young Men's and coaches the YM's basketball team which is fun. The YM have campouts every month though! So we'll see how that goes! Wowie Does Time Fly!

Moved From Coast to Coast. Monday, October 24, 2011. We are getting settled in here in Utah. So far so good. Mia has started preschool and is enjoying it. We have loved playing with cousins on a regular basis. The girls and I are exploring all that Utah has to offer. We went to Gardner Village last week with my sister Megan who is only 40 minutes away now. Hooray! Next week we close on our house which we are super excited about. Pictures to come :). Moved From Coast to Coast. Tuesday, December 6, 2011. We had our ward Christmas party in which Santa made an appearance! Mia was super excited. Norah on the other hand was very hesitant, but then once she saw he was giving out candy canes she thought he couldn't be that bad :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). FEEDJIT Live Traffic Feed.

These Are Days: Almond-Orange Shortbread
http://jesskern.blogspot.com/2008/04/almond-orange-shortbread.html
Monday, April 7, 2008. I made these for book club a couple of weeks ago (we read Austenland. And I wanted something British-y). They are delicious and just might be my new favorite non-chocolate cookie. The original recipe comes from Everyday Food Magazine. 1 cup (2 sticks) butter. 1 cup confectioners' sugar. 3/4 teaspoon almond extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. Grated zest of 1 orange (about 2 teaspoons). 3/4 cup sliced almonds. I just might have to give this recipe a try. Sounds so good. April 8, 2008...

The Scott Family Corner: Lava Hot Springs
http://scottcorner.blogspot.com/2014/08/lava-hot-springs.html
The Scott Family Corner. Welcome to our little corner of the internet! Here you'll find our stories of laughter, tears, and the occasional mommy epiphany, nonetheless they are stories of our family. Enjoy! Thursday, August 21, 2014. Lava has 3 platforms, I believe they are around 10, 20, and 30 feet. When we arrived there, the boys jumped immediately off the first, made their way to the second and without any hesitation threw themselves off the 3rd. They are officially nuts! Jenn and Ben: January 2015

Thursday, January 22, 2015. A Visit to the Desert. It is really crazy to me that within a 3.5 hour flight, we can be transported to a different world. We left Chiberia, our wintry home, and a few hours later arrived in the desert. It's almost impossible for me to believe that this world exists at the same time ours does. And that things like this actually grow and are not just from movies and pictures. Okay, so this was my first venture into the real desert. Tucson, AZ! New Year's Eve: Warren Miller ski ...

Braces, Snow and Tumbling. Moriah and her braces! We have had LOTS of SNOW this WINTER! Parent observation day at Jacob's tumbling class. It was so much fun to get to go in and watch him, he was so FUNNY, always looking over at us. Going around the course. This is Jacob being a monkey, his leg is his "tail". Tuesday, 01 February, 2011. So envious of your snow! We have had little to none. Its no way to spend a winter in Utah :(. Love the cowboy dad in Jacobs gymnastics photos! Bryan and Sunny Tringali.
