It’s been a long time (part 2). February. This is the month we will either conceive our child or receive validation that we have been on the right path pursuing an open adoption. Our long shot fell short and we did not conceive. I was blessed to have my mother in town after we received the news. She and I spent the weekend in true Shirley and Suzi style going to antique stores, estate sales and eating way too much delicious food. So what’s next? And please no matter what life is throwing your way remembe...

Laquo; Catching Up. Good Golly Miss Molly. On June 8, 2012. Dave and I spent 2 weeks in San Diego with our cousins Jeremy, Melissa and their daughter Molly. We had never spent that much time in a home with a baby. It was an eye-opening experience. In the morning we would wake up to the sound of her talking to herself. For some reason I always thought babies only woke up crying. It was exciting to lie in bed listening to Molly babbling. 3 responses to “ Good Golly Miss Molly. June 8, 2012 at 1:58 pm.

I arrived at the course at 6:45am with the plan to start join the 8am heat with my team. I was going to be running the event with Jay Hartman who I had run the Georgia event with in February. Along with Jay I would be running with his Sister Nellie, her fiance Jason and Jay’s girlfriend Karen. The race start is one of the best parts of the tough mudder. Sean the MC is an amazing motivator. Here is a video that Jay put together. Enjoy! Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? I will be doing my 3. Enter your email a...

So with that in mind, here is the first piece of artwork to be hung in the nursery. We found it at an estate sale when we were vacationing recently in California. It’s a pencil drawing of a girl and sheep walking up a hillside. We framed it in a simple black frame and white mat. A small step towards creating a special space for our future child. If you want to see some of our other ideas and inspiration for the nursery you can check us out on Pinterest. http:/ pinterest.com/qsuzi. Good Golly Miss Molly.

Laquo; Small Dilemma. On July 12, 2012. That day we found this Full sheet set:. This buffet will be transformed into a baby changing/dressing table. I love that it has 2 cabinets. I plan to use one for hiding the diaper pail and the other for a dirty clothes basket. I’ll continue to post pictures as we work on the transformation. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Celebrate the Autism Spectrum. About “Celebrate the Autism Spectrum”. Autism, with a smile. About “Celebrate the Autism Spectrum”. Happy Mother’s Day. This post is dedicated to my mother, Shirley, for refusing to “give me away”. I wanted to share this story today (the day before Mother’s Day) for 2 reason’s:. 1) Today is Birth Mother’s day and I want to send a *hug* out to all the Birth mother’s who have entrusted their sons and daughters into another woman’s care. You are stronger than you realize. 2) Since today is the anniversary of my mom entrusting me into Dave’s care, I thought it was appropriate to post it today. Dreams from ...

Oh beer, is there anything you can't do? Is there anything you can't accomplish? Thursday, November 3, 2016. From the Cellar: Unibroue Terrible. It's been a while since we pulled one out of the cellar for this blog, but with the weather getting colder there is no better time to dive into the big monsters that tend to lurk in my stash o' beer than now. A bottle of Unibroue Terrible has calling me for a few years now, so let's check it out. Age has treated it well. There is a softness here not common t...
