For Ryan & Kathryn: Fall 2014

http://www.celebratingryan.blogspot.com/2014/11/fall-2014.html

Sunday, November 16, 2014. 2014 school pictures. Ryan's school picture made me gasp when I compared it to last years. my how they change in a year. And the annual pumpkin carving. A chore.err um tradition I let Dad take on each year. The last picture shows Ryan right after he told me, "Enough pictures Mom, take some of Kathryn now! And oh my gosh it cracks me up! Ryan decided to be Spider Man again this year. "It makes my muscles look BIG Mom.". A few other fun things. When Kathryn is older, I think ...

For Ryan & Kathryn: February 2014

http://www.celebratingryan.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Seattle held a rally for fans to celebrate the Superbowl win. Early estimates on how many people would be downtown was, oh about 300,000. In the end the estimate was somewhere between 700,000 and a million fans. It was INSANE. Paul took the day off work. We kept Ryan and Kathryn out of school to be a part of this momentous occasion in Seattle history. In the end, it will always be a day in Seattle history, glad we were a part of it. Oh, and it was about 28 degrees! Two night...

Alec: Tour de Parks

http://alecwalbrun.blogspot.com/2010/05/tour-de-parks.html

Updates on Alec and random ramblings from a first time father (and sometimes from his mother). Thursday, May 27, 2010. Today when we woke up, Alec informed me that he was pretending to be a "clever chicken". I asked the clever chicken if he would like to explore some new parks, and he clucked emphatically (which I interpreted as "yes"). I printed out a map of all the parks in the Queen Anne neighborhood and we hit the road. On the carousel, and then jumping on to join me. The little daredevil!

Alec: Weekend

http://alecwalbrun.blogspot.com/2010/05/weekend.html

Updates on Alec and random ramblings from a first time father (and sometimes from his mother). Monday, May 24, 2010. As mentioned in my previous post, we got GERBILS this weekend. Alec's sheer joy and excitement before and after we went to buy them was caught on video (must have Rob show me how to upload a video to the blog). When he woke up from his nap Friday afternoon, I quietly asked him "Would you like to go pick out your gerbils at Petco? Two posts in one week - what is going on? Kathryn's 6th year...

http://alecwalbrun.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Updates on Alec and random ramblings from a first time father (and sometimes from his mother). Friday, May 06, 2011. Alec turned four in February, and has changed from a chubby-cheeked toddler to a full-fledged boy. He officially gave up his nap after Christmas and retires much earlier in the evening now. No more pleading with him at 10pm to PLEASE go to sleep! It seems a lot less daunting to just jot down a list, since I am a list-maker at heart anyways. So here it goes:. He is fidgety and restless insi...

Updates on Alec and random ramblings from a first time father (and sometimes from his mother). Tuesday, November 30, 2010. We have one excited little boy! Over Thanksgiving week, we uncharacteristically got dumped up with a huge snowfall. Alec loved every minute spent outside in the freezing weather, and took playing in the snow to a new level with his Jeep and balance bike. He just never seems to care if he is cold or covered with snow! As always, lots of funny things have come out of his mouth lately:.

Updates on Alec and random ramblings from a first time father (and sometimes from his mother). Monday, November 03, 2008. After finishing some major house projects I finally have time to go through some of the photos and videos from this summer. I put together this short video tonight of Alec and his cousins Jack and Grant. We spent a great week in Bend, OR at Lindsay's Dad and stepmother's home. This video is of the boys playing on a Slip 'n Slide. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The High Cost of Music.
