They lived at a time when money, trade and possessions were becoming increasingly important. These things gave people prestige and the power to control and manipulate others. After two unsuccessful attempts at soldiering, a spell in prison and a long illness, he began to spend more time alone and in prayer. His former friends thought he had gone mad.

Sunday, June 28, 2015. End of School and Summer! Eek, so much for my goal of posting every month. I looked at the blog today, thinking my last post was last month, come to find out it was March. Where did April and May go? And here it is the final days of June. The end of the school year flew by. Ryan ran 24 laps = 3 miles. Kathryn ran 21 laps = 2.6 miles. In their jog-a-thon shirts. 2014-2015 school year came to an end on June 17th. Ryan completed 1st grade. Hiking, swimming, so many outdoor activities.
