Life Through Our Eyes. Friday, September 6, 2013. 4th of July at the lake! We returned from the beach just in time to do laundry, repack and head to the lake for the July 4th holiday. The weather was perfect, warm during the day and cool in the evenings. The kids were excited to have their cousins to play with for a couple of days too! Great time with Jeremy's family! Life Through Our Eyes. Friday, January 25, 2013. Christmas Eve with Jeremy's family. We spent the afternoon and evening in Lapel with Jeremy's family. The time is filled with lots of laughter, food, and of course gifts! Oh boy, a big truck book! I know what we'll be reading at bedtime for awhile :). Here Cormac let me open that for you! Life Through Our Eyes. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Just when I think I'm getting caught up, I fall behind again. Oh well, here's Christmas in February :). Christmas morning at our house was so much fun! Our kiddos are all morning sleepers so early rising was not on the agenda for today.ok with the "Santa's" :) Maryn was the first one up and was super excited to see what was under the tree! It was fun to see them so excited and filled with anticipation! He got a chair with his name on it and loves it!

Saturday, November 30, 2013. Schmidt 2013 in Review. Our year was full of excitement, as usual. We have definitely simplified and gotten focused on the ways we serve, live and love others. I still serve for 3 months in the fall as the PreSchool Co-Teacher with a friend of mine at our church - Common Ground Christian Church. It again was a rewarding and fun season of serving.
