He’s left you for dead. The trials in your life are too much to bear. Forsake God in anger, for his ways are not fair. A child when I’m this old? Sara did not believe. That her body could ever a baby conceive. She wondered why God such a promise would give. And through Hagar presented an alternative. No, there’s none.

Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance | Waiting Room Mom
https://waitingroommom.wordpress.com/2013/07/31/tuberous-sclerosis-alliance
WaitingRoomMom is a metaphor for what I have learned and done through seasons in and out of waiting rooms as an adoptive and foster parent of special needs children. I was encouraged to see the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance as the featured charity on America’s Charities web site. Our daughter, Alicia, was diagnosed with TSC before she was born 21 years ago. We were told she would die before her first birthday. At that time little was known about the disease. Special thanks to Julianne Moore. July 31, 2013.

for Charissa | thoughts in rhyme
https://mypoemblog.wordpress.com/2010/07/14/for-charissa
All items Emily Riley 2007-2010. July 14, 2010 by EmilyRiley. Pray for me please, I’m sick were the words that I read. From my friend whom the doctors declared nearly dead. Painful tests, piling bills,. Shrinking clothes, countless pills,. How she longed for the day when this nightmare would end. She prayed to her Master for healing from pain;. She prayed for new health like the spring flow’rs that came. New blossoms, new buds,. New petals, new love,. As she trusted that God her pathways would keep,.
