Saturday, June 18, 2011. Day 4: Interlaken, Switzerland. On our way to Switzerland! We stopped in Bern, Switzerland to visit the temple. The church and mormon shop were right next door:). We were so glad we rented a car so we could go wherever we wanted and stop along the way and enjoy some of the countryside. Wow Interlaken is such a beautiful little town. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. The original door and bullet hole that Hyrum was shot through. Isn't it amazing to see. The top window is where Joseph Smith was shot and then fell from. Monday, November 15, 2010. So we sort of (actually totally) broke our budget for "eating out" last month, and that was excluding all the food we ate on vacation. So we pretty much ate like crap and spent a lot of money doing it. So in an effort to do better this month, I am going to be cooking a lot more! So far, so good. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. So long sister mcdonald! Amy left us today for the next 18 months to serve a mission! She will be serving in the Iloilo Philipines mission.
