Councillor Charlotte MacKenzie

The buoyant incoming Cornish Pirates chairman Ian Connell has called for a new stadium in time for the 2016-17 season. In April Cornwall Council took up an option to keep land as public open space which forms part of the area at Langarth which has planning permission as a stadium. Councillors making the decision to do this were advised that if they exercised this option the land must be kept as public open space and would not be available for the stadium. July 10, 2014. Charlotte's blog: February 2010

http://charlottemackenzie.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Hope is like a road in the country. There was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.' Lin Yutang. Tuesday, February 09, 2010. Second homes and public spending in Cornwall. Some mixed messages from Cornwall's Liberal Democrat MPs about second homes and public spending in Cornwall. Other tax breaks associated with letting second homes have already been ended by Labour in Government from April 2010. So it is laughable that Dan Rogerson MP and Julia Goldsworthy MP's...

Hope is like a road in the country. There was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.' Lin Yutang. Thursday, April 29, 2010. This is my reply sent to the 'Back the Pub' campaign in support of Cornwall's pubs:. As Labour's prospective MP in an area with some excellent local breweries, and pubs which are at the heart of some of our local communities, I am supporting CAMRA's 'beer drinkers and pub goers charter'. Hope is like a road in the country. There was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.' Lin Yutang. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Why I want the job of being your MP. As Parliament was dissolved yesterday, people paid tribute to Matthew Taylor, who was the MP for Truro and St Austell for 23 years. When Matthew Taylor announced in 2007 he was standing down at the end of this Parliament, he said that the biggest thing he had achieved as an MP was the A30 Goss Moor by pass.

A strong voice for Cornwall. Charlotte MacKenzie, Labour's candidate for Truro and Falmouth at the next general election. A strong voice for Cornwall. November 10, 2009. The people of Cornwall need better representation. Our communities are disadvantaged – despite access to EU funding – by having no spokesperson of the UK governing Party since 2005.
