The easter bunny spoiled Owen and Augusta. He left a trail of jelly beans leading to Owens basket, and even better money in his eggs instead of candy! Eating the jelly bean trail. The story of our life as the photographer and his wife. Sunday, November 13, 2011. Chase and I decided to take our little monkey to the zoo for a fun halloween treat. We picked the perfect day, as it was just the right temperature, and the zoo was pretty empty. Owen loved seeing the monkeys, elephants, playing on the playground, and feeding the ducks and swans. I didn't get a newborn photo but I am going to take a photo of Paul next to this bear every month until his first birthday. Then I think i will take one every year until he wont let me anymore. Friday, October 16, 2009. So, It's hard to believe that we have been in Spokane for over a month now. It's been good. We have been lucky to already now a few people out here from when Brock served his mission in this area and our ward is so great! They have been so welcoming and helpful! I have not felt alone like i thought i would. Our friend Matt came with us and it has been so great having him here. He has been so helpful to us! It is so beautiful and the hike was perfect! Friday, March 11, 2011. I had a hard time getting him to hold still for these! He kept trying to pull himself up on the arm rest! He is constantly on the move by getting up on his knees and then launching himself forward (he doesn't have the arms down yet) or by rolling. He pulled himself to standing once. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Thanskgiving in Oklahoma for 2011! Morgan and Chase have not been to Tiff and Rob's place, so Kevin decided since they had time off from school and Kevin had a few days off, we were driving to Oklahoma for turkey. Yum, Yum. On the way, we think we got some bad gas in Wyoming. Our truck would be moving along at 75-80 and than we would lose power and couldn't go faster than 60. With a little help of gas cleaner additive and patience, we made it to Tiff and Rob's. I go fast, Mom!

Sunday, February 26, 2012. Tyler had his pinewood derby last week! Our ward has an awesome scouting program, and I think everyone had a lot of fun racing their cars. Tyler won some and lost some and ended up somewhere in the middle. My favorite was when he won a race he would do a double fist pump and say "yes! Kind of reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite:). He won the award for best "showy" paint job because he painted it a shiny gold with a white racing stripe which he did all on his own, he was very proud!
