Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: July 2014
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Young Women Talent Show-special performance by Chef Justin. Our Young Women put on a talent show for their camp fundraiser. They made treats to sell for the show, and Nolan and I contributed white and dark chocolate drizzled popcorn. Nolan is fascinated by our air popper (the "popcorn louder") and loves freshly popped popcorn. I made sure to save him a bag that he could enjoy during the show. During the show, I had lots of help taking care of Grant. Posted by Alicia Farmer. Saturd...

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: A Snowman and his Dog
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-snowman-and-his-dog.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. A Snowman and his Dog. Saturday morning we woke up to beautiful freshly fallen snow, thanks to Winter Storm Iola. When Grant went down for his morning nap, we headed outside to test it out. It was slightly heavy and wet- perfect for snowball fights. They even attacked the photographer. Good aim, Nolan! Nolan has a funny way of playing with snow balls. He awards you "zero points" if you hit something or someone. If your snowball lands back into the snow, you win the game. The Boy...

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: May 2014

Monday, May 26, 2014. Memorial Day Picnic with the Cromwell Ward. This Memorial Day we celebrated with a picnic/barbecue with our Cromwell ward. Before we got too hot and sweaty I made sure to snap these pictures. I love Nolan's new sunglasses, but I bought him one size too big. He loves them, too, even though they slide halfway down his nose. The ward grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, and everyone brought dishes to share. Nolan loves dipping his hamburgers in ketchup, and today was no exception.

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: Juno visits Connecticut
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2015/01/juno-visits-connecticut.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Winter Storm Juno paid us a visit Monday night. The governor implemented a travel ban on all emergency vehicles Monday evening. We had plenty of supplies and hunkered down inside to wait out the blizzard. Snow started coming down around and the strong winds created snow drifts. It's rather interesting how the wind travels around the light and our car and leaves no snow. I've yet to hear final snowfall totals, but on the front lawn we had between 9-14" of snow. At the XL Center.

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: December 2014
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2014. Happy Birthday, Grant! Grant turned one on Christmas Eve. Poor kid will always have to share his birthday. (I've already decided we're moving most of the celebrations to his half birthday.). We gave him a cupcake to try, but he was more curious and cautious. Than he was excited about eating it. He's really not a fan of sweets. Happy to be turning one! Some tidbits about Grant:. Still having trouble sleeping through the night. Weighs 24 lbs- 90%, but his height is 20%. That ev...

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: The Boy with Many Names
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-boy-with-many-names.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2015. The Boy with Many Names. Nolan has quite the imagination. Some days he is Mr. Mailman, and sometimes he is a hermit crab. Recently he's been re-naming himself. When he first started wearing this BYU football jersey, he was a football player named Nick Tector. A few weeks later that changed to Sid Sector. And even if he's not wearing the jersey, sometimes he'll only answer to Luke Collector. Notice the "-ector" theme? What a funny kid! Posted by Alicia Farmer. At the XL Center.

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: December 2013
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 28, 2013. This year was the first time Justin and I spent Christmas away from our families. I wanted to make this year special, especially because Nolan finally understood a little what Christmas was all about. We bought our pre-lit tree on a Black Friday sale and trimmed it with red and green plastic (toddler friendly) globe ornaments. I also loved these faux pinecone (also plastic) ornaments. Posted by Alicia Farmer. Thursday we came home from the hospital and all of the sudden it wa...

Justin, Alicia, Nolan & Grant: January 2015
http://justinandaliciafarmer.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. At the XL Center. For Nolan, going to a basketball game means he's going to get popcorn. He let us subtly know he wanted a snack with his little guessing game. Hey Mom. Something's missing. It's yellow and white.". The game was interrupted Grant's morning nap, but with quite a bit of coaxing, Grant slept for almost the entire first half. And he was really happy when he woke up. Posted by Alicia Farmer. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Thank goodness Tony had a snowblower. Until he f...
