Chasing Art: March 2014
http://chasingart.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Crafting little things along the way. Wednesday, 5 March 2014. It's time for another challenge over at Sarah Hurley365. And this month it's all about speech bubbles! There's a £10 voucher and some flexi markers up for grabs along with some of Sarah's blog badges so come along and have a play! I made a bit of a mess on the other side when I got a bit slap happy with pearlescent glue! I coloured it with Derwent. Kits Then I added Angelica and Malcolm from 31 Spook St. Through the Purple Challenge Blog.

http://chasingart.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Crafting little things along the way. Wednesday, 24 July 2013. Oh my where's the time gone? I'm late again. I spent most of last month running around like a zombie getting son ready to go away on holiday, dreaming of all the time I'd have while he's away. Now he's away and I really don't know what to do with myself- it's quite an odd feeling just hanging there and waiting for him to return. Crafting mojo's gone and chocolate intake's on the up and up! I made this card for Sarah Hurley's. Sarah Hurley - I...

Crafting little things along the way. Saturday, 5 April 2014. Well isn't this year going fast. I can't believe it's a month since I posted. It's a good job another Sarah Hurley challenge. http://chasingart.blogspot.com/2014/06/stationery-or-feeding-my-addiction.html
Crafting little things along the way. Tuesday, 3 June 2014. Stationery-or feeding my addiction! It's my turn to blog over at Sarah Hurley365. Today and I need to get something off my chest! I'm a stationery-holic. There I said it! I love stationery sets, can't get enough of them and am a huge fan of snail mail. I write a lot of letters and belong to a group called Postcircle dedicated to writing just because! It was started by Anna aka Miss Beatrix. Then it occurred to me that I could make my own! I urge...

Crafting little things along the way. Friday, 3 May 2013. It's exciting times over at Sarah Hurley. Not only is it time for a new challenge but Look Book Volume 3 is out and is exploding with lots of crafting inspiration-more of that later! The challenge theme is Shades of Blue. Which straight away made me think of Sarah's I Love Paris. Kit (I'm so predictable! I think this will make a nice alternative to a birthday card! You can find the Look Book here. Turning Hattie | Crochet Eclectics
https://crocheteclectics.wordpress.com/2013/03/10/turning-hattie
Exploring the world of crochet. Asymp; 26 Comments. I am a ‘hattie’ (as in a hat person), crocheted or not, so it’s only natural that I would fast turn to crochet hat making. Initially, I chose one of the easiest patterns. I could find (and understand) and set out to test it using some bargain priced wool I had. This pattern was fast and easy to work in the round with the treble crochet stitch (TC in UK terms), each round ending with a slip stitch, and also provided a nice introduction to changing colours.

Another week gone and it's almost March! Where does the time go? I'm sure it was only Christmas a few days ago! Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who commented on last weeks post. About my unicorn plaques, your feedback was fantastic and just goes to show that different people like different things. I've decided to keep both plaque ideas but taken your advice and made a few differences. The unicorns with rainbows are staying pretty much as they are,. Now we can't forget that very soon it will be mothers...

Chasing Ashley | A Birthmother in a Closed Adoption surviving an emotionally chaotic journey
The journey begins…. April 12, 2008 at 7:33 am ( Adoption. It was Monday, July 25. I held you in my arms for about 3 hours that morning. I can still smell that new baby smell and I can still feel your breath on my neck. I told you how much I love you and how I had no choice but to let you be adopted. I had no support from anyone and you deserved so much more than I could provide you. I didn’t have anyone to help us; I thought we would be destined to live in poverty. I was only 18 years old; an adult deci...
