Au fil des siècles. Livran est habité depuis les temps les plus reculés, en attestent les haches de l’âge de bronze retrouvées sur place. Le domaine produit deux vins aux styles affirmés et complémentaires. Typique des crus médocains, le premier révèle une structure tannique complexe, élégante et raffinée après un élevage de 12 à 18 mois avec 30% de bois neuf (potentiel de garde de 10 ans). Bois et vignes entourent une belle bâtisse harmonieusement construite au fil des siècles. Nowadays the annual production of the vinery amounts to 40 thousand bottles of Chateau Livran Cru Bourgeois, 70 thousand bottles of Les Sources de Livran, and 40 thousand bottles of special cuvee Fleur de Tais. Grapes and wines are produced by traditional methods in compliance with the principles of efficient use of land and organic fertilizers. The average grape crop amounts to 45-50 hectoliters per 1 hectare.
