http://thenatureofthings-nan.blogspot.com/2009/04/wildlife-update.html
The Nature of Things. Ramblings about my world- pets, plants, birds, life, etc. Friday, April 24, 2009. You just never know what you'll see when you look out the window. This morning it was a pair of male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. Joined by a male Indigo Bunting. Later in the morning, Daddy and Little E had come down for a brief visit and while looking out the living room window at the birds, we discovered something else! Then I got braver (or stupider) and went outside for a better view. I have been a ca...

The Nature of Things 2010. Ramblings about my world. Friday, January 15, 2010. The Jefferson Memorial- At night. After supper, T wanted to get pictures of the Jefferson Memorial at night, so we drove over there. Even though it was quite cold, there were lots of people there. We were there for a Ranger tour- wished later we'd skipped. He was very enthusiastic about what an inconsistent man Jefferson was and waxed long on that subject. We enjoyed the building, the monument and the city lights.

The Nature of Things. Ramblings about my world- pets, plants, birds, life, etc. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. The Case of the Missing Snake- Solved. The snake we saw on Friday disappeared shortly after I finished taking pictures of it. I briefly (and cautiously) looked for it, but saw no sign of it. Today, while looking out T's window, I discovered where it went. I fear our baby Starlings are only a memory now. The starlings being slurped up by the rat snake I mean. May 1, 2009 at 5:51 AM. Oh that darn snake!
