A Peek Inside Teebs Kitchen. Fresh vegetarian. delightful. Monday, January 30, 2012. In these cold winter nights, I can't help but hibernate. I just want to warm up with a bowl of soup and hot tea. The nice thing about being cooped up in the house is I start getting more crafty. I got some inspiring things for Christmas like washi tape, beautiful yarns and spools of striped twine, stationary, and some really unique journals. Can't wait to dig into those. I served this with hummus and toasted pita bread.

I made garlic bread the way I always do but using the homemade bread made it even better. My friends and I gathered around the table, pumpkin candle lit, Josh Garrels. On the stereo, and of course the food hot and ready to savor each bite. Teebs' version of Basil Pesto. 2 T pine nuts*, lightly toasted. 4 handfuls of fresh basil (or all you have, I use a lot).

Zucchini Chocolate = Toddler Eating Her Veggies! 6 tbsp ground flax seeds. 189; c warm water. 2 c turbinado sugar (or light brown sugar). 189; c oil. 189; c applesauce. 2 to 2½ c grated zucchini ( 3 medium-sized ones). 3 c whole wheat flour. 1 tbsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1 c chocolate chips.
