Making parfaits and lemonade. Reading and listening to books on CD: Sign of the Beaver. Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. Return of the Indian. The Indian in the Cupboard). Taking sewing classes (the girls, not me - although I wish I was taking some, too). Playing in a softball tournament.

I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it. Saturday, March 26, 2011. The dance was so much fun! We had a huge turnout, and everything went off without a hitch. The DJ was fun, the caterer was great, and the decorations were beautiful. Everyone seemed to have a great time. It was so neat to see so many dads doing something like this for their daughters. I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it. Thursday, July 07, 2011. Last week the girls and I went on a road trip with my mom to her hometown of Ozona, Texas. We visited with my grandma and house-sat, dog-sat, and chicken-sat for my aunt and uncle. Getting the chickens back to bed. We took one day to drive out to Balmorhea State Park. Which features a spring-fed swimming pool where you can swim with endangered species of fish. The water was so, so cold, but we had fun.
