Thompson Tales: March 2013
http://thethompsonwayoflife.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. Hollis' first trip to the zoo. We decided to spend our St. Patty's Day this year at the zoo. The weather was perfect and even though Hollis wasn't quite aware of where we were at, it was fun just to get out and enjoy the nice weather as a family with good friends. :). This was by far my fav of the day-this lion kept roaring so loud and was perched up on that rock like the true king of the jungle! Hollis enjoyed him too. :). I celebrate...

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. 65279;Nothing like doing a weekend round up on a Thurday. This past weekend was packed! Friday night we met our dear sweet friends Austin and Ashley and Matt and Jess and Baylor for some dinner at Macaroni Grill (we may or may not have gone for the 1/2 off wine) :). We had so much fun catching up with Ashley and Austin and letting the kiddos play on the patio. We did the entire restaurant a favor and sat on the patio outside! Weekend pl...

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. 7 months.wow.I feel like 7 months sounds so. But I still think of Hollis as a baby baby. Clearly she is going to grow up whether we want her to or not and boy is the time flying by! This month she has learned to not only crawl, but to pull up on things, everything! It is absoutely amazing to watch her maneuver all over the floor and go after a certain toy that she has decided that she wants to play with! Her sleeping routine has still b...

Thompson Tales: A different kind of 4th of July
http://thethompsonwayoflife.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-different-kind-of-4th-of-july.html
Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. A different kind of 4th of July. Every 4th of July that I can ever remember has consisted of swimming/laying out by a pool/body of water with a cooler of tastey drinks followed by some yummy hot dogs and hamburgers and ending the night with fireworks. . Well this 4th was slightly different since it was pouring down rain the entire weekend! Which meant no pool time. :(. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Polka...

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. Monday we went back for our regular appointment and to see if Hollis would cooperate and let us see her little face a bit more than last time. Well, it wasn't easy (she took a bit of coaxing) but we were able to get some pretty adorable pics of her precious face.and her personality! My apologies ahead of time for the quality of these pics-picture of a picture. Her little lips puckered up :). One of my favs! Also, my apologies for the s...

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. Chow Down Around Town-Saw's Juke Joint. 65279;So it's been a while since I've done a Chow Down rap up. I missed a few and now its that time of the month again for another Chow Down, so I figured it was a good time to post last months. We munched on the crab claws, fried okra, fried zucchini (of course it was all fat free :) and by the time it was time to order dinner,. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Thompson Tales: July 2012
http://thethompsonwayoflife.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. Btw-horrible pic of me slouching. 65279;How far along:. 3 lbs this week, 14 lbs total. Best moment of the week:. We went to register at Buy Buy Baby this past weekend and while it was fun to pick out stuff for our little Sweet Pea, it quickly became super overwhelming-what kind of bottles, which stroller, what color for this and that! Again, nothing major still. I think she started head-butting me this week! Nothing really at the moment.

Thompson Tales: November 2012
http://thethompsonwayoflife.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. During our hospital stay. We met the grandparents. Got our handprints/footprints done. Not a fan of her handprints being taken. Got our first bath. Who doesn't love a baby booty shot? And just hung out. :). October 25, 2012. 7 lbs, 19 in. I know that I am more than a little bit behind on updating but am going to do my best to get up to date as soon as possible. For starters, let's go with the proverbial birth story to kick things off.
