The Stavlo's: January 2013
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 16, 2013. These are the days. I am not sure why, but for some reason, my Facebook home page has recently been flooded with so many of my friends "liking" different pages or stories of parents who have lost children. I cannot force myself not to read their stories. The truth is that I am constantly wondering, what if I'm next? What if that story was. Are the days that count. Are the best days. The Stavlo's: October 2012
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 23, 2012. So, I know that since it's been awhile since I've blogged that I need to update all the pictures and such on here, but the truth is, I know it's going to take me awhile, so I'll just add that to the long list of other things I need to do. Hadleigh is 9 weeks old. She is still sleeping in the pack n play in our room - I swore our next baby wouldn't be in our room for very long, but at this point she still is. She usually goes to bed around the time that Noah and I do, which ...
The Stavlo's: Half a year
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2013/02/half-year.html
Tuesday, February 12, 2013. I know we mom's say this all the time, but where does the time go? Sweet Hadleigh Kate, here is what you are up to at 6 months. You have rolled over. Yes, only twice. You roll onto your side often and are certainly capable of rolling, you simply seem to not really care to. Your big sister was never a big roller either though, so it must be how you're made. You are officially sitting up! As happy and easy-going as you are, you still cry every time someone other than me or Daddy...
The Stavlo's: July 2013
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 25, 2013. I simply couldn't put Hadleigh down tonight without one last, last, very last kiss and cuddle and "I love you" whispered in her ear. And I couldn't tuck Elle in tight enough or stop gazing at my precious nephew who was sleeping in my arms. Why? Because children are precious. They are a precious gift from God. And yes, they are messy and loud and disrespectful and funny and silly and all of those things, sometimes all at the same time, but they are beautiful gifts.

The Stavlo's: Weekend
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2013/02/weekend.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. The place Noah found to take his girls last Fall? Yes, I’m now taking my. Girls I am so excited and my soul is in great need of some late night talks, hot tea and warm blankets. I was up before dawn with Hadleigh this morning and as she drank her bottle and I sipped my black coffee, I was telling her how much I was going to miss her this weekend. And I will. But her and Elle will have a good time hanging out with their dad. I know that well. A dad and his girls.
The Stavlo's: March 2011
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Elle is 22 months old today and is changing into a little girl more and more each day. Elle, here is what you are up to. Your vocabulary is really expanding, albeit sometimes we can't exactly understand what it is you're saying. Sometimes you think it is so funny to just ramble off a bunch of gibberish just because you always get such a laugh out of us. Your favorite thing to say to me lately is, "Mommy, help me? You have an obsession with ELMO. You love him! You love being able ...
The Stavlo's: December 2012

Tuesday, December 11, 2012. A Week in Pictures. Jack and our Snowman Soup. Coffee on the Patio. Friday, December 7, 2012. We found out three days before Christmas last year that we were expecting again. I was filled with sheer joy and terror all at the same time. What if we lost this baby too? I remember hearing the words from one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs “…next year our troubles will be out of sight…” and I thought, yes! Next year we will. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Stavlo's: May 2011

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Easter Bunnies and Birthday Cakes. April is over and May is on it's way out as well and I still haven't found the time to post any Easter or Birthday pictures of Elle. She absolutely loved Easter this year and was so excited to dye eggs and then hunt for them (we read the Easter story many, many times as well! Elle, here is what you are up to at 24 months. Your sweet baby blood! You said the same thing to me this morning when I got you up - ha! And expect to get your way all of t...
The Stavlo's: September 2011
http://thestavlos.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 2, 2011. So instead of writing up a post about how excited we are to be expecting another baby, I am left to write up a post about the loss of one. We found out on Tuesday, that the sweet baby we were set to welcome on March 22, 2012, was no longer growing and no longer had a heartbeat. The loud, reassuring heartbeat that Noah and I had heard at both 7 and 8 weeks was no longer detectable. What loss. What sadness. The little things that change are the moments that have caught me most of...

Chris Zagore and Leah McCord's Wedding
The Hills
Monday, September 24, 2012. I'm crazy about this boy :). Anyway, Skyler is doing great! He looks like any other four month old. He's right on track with his gestation. He actually turned eight months old a week ago. Happy Birthday to him! We went to the eye doctor a few weeks back and he said that Skyler's ROP, which used to be in stage three, has now regressed to stage one. Great news! He says he may have some peripheral vision problems. We have to wait and see what happens. Right now, Skyler is teethin...

The Jarrell Family
Thursday, July 24, 2008. We just returned from out first trip to New Orleans! A very short but eventful trip. It was a blast. Actually we went for the wedding of a good friend of ours. His new wife and her family are from there and since Chris was asked to do a reading, we decided to go ahead and make a mini vacation out of it. New Orleans is an interesting place. When you start driving into the city it really is not very pretty. It's dirty and crowded. But. It was so cute,. Chris ran into the store to p...
European Adventure 2007
Wednesday, May 30, 2007. We went to the Bana (not sure of the spelling) yesterday with one of our students. We all payed 20 lei (about 2 dollars Canadian) and we were given access to our own private suit, containing a room with a table and benches for eating (including a T.V.), another random room with benches, and a third room that has a REALLY hot sauna attached, and also some showers and a mini-pool. The idea is to sit in the sauna, and when you get too hot jump into the pool. Repeat. We then walked t...
