Things I have learned about being a parent the second time around. 1) Pretty much whatever you learned with the first kid, throw it out the window and start over, because each kid is sooo different. Sunday, September 13, 2009. Like a dog on a leash. I was thinking today about how I would describe the way I've been feeling. The title sums it up. I feel like a dog on a leash. Like a dog with an amazing master who provides everything yet I'm trying to run the other direction.
