Thursday, April 19, 2012. TDY - Week 2 and 3. Our second week had gone by rather quick due to some Rio hiccups, but we sure managed not to let it ruin our fantastic time in this wonderful city. Certainly enough Rio didn't let us down one bit. We started off our lovely Saturday with a shot trip to Botanical Garden. We then headed to Ipanema and visited the famous bar Garota de Ipanema (or the old Veloso bar) which was the birthplace of the bossa nova song " The Girl from Ipanema. April 20, 2012 at 3:04 AM.
