Another collaboration with the design talent of a dozen eggs. The ASAP watercrafts site posed a few technical challenges. Featuring a complex adaptive layout and stunning full screen photo galleries and background images, the website makes a great first impression on visitors. As a design duo setting up their own branding agency Fran and Jo designed their site themselves and then enlisted me to build it, and so began a fantastic business partnership! Ross realised how incredibly difficult it is for lifeguards to rescue people in water. There must be a better solution to taking the fuel thirsty jet ski out . . . Perhaps something with all the benefits of a paddleboard as a one person launch electicpowered craft? If only , Ross and the many lifeguards we spoke to said . . . Several months later, many nights sanding in a tent the first prototype was made (Sorry to the neighbours for using powertools through the night) . . . And built by chris pymm.

I am a product designer and entrepreneur - an inventor. I have always liked making things and have been fascinated with innovation. This started with making a Thunderbirds Tracy Island in my garage in St.Albans, where I grew up, and has progressed to a motorised lifeguard watercraft. I then went on to receive investment from Innocent Smoothies founder Richard Reed as part of the BBC3 TV show Be Your Own Boss - an opportunity to do something really big and ultimately help save lives with my design!
