Girls Weekends Are Underrated. In April I visited my good friend and college roommate, Sarah Ringer, in Las Vegas to have a girls weekend before she had her baby (which is now here. welcome to the world Brooklyn! We were missing Katie Shaw, the other roommate in our trio, but she was finishing finals in Provo :(. Second, we spent a good 8 hours in a beautiful spa. need I say more? North Beach: Enough with the Plywood. Walking to the festival. hiking a lot of hills. A favorite street in San Francisco off Broadway. So steep the sidewalk is a series of steps. Playing in Washington Park. Fun street vendors where we almost got ripped off by the Sham-Wow people. Why is it that I want those things so bad? Oh yeah, I have a 1 year old. :). Thursday, November 17, 2011. I am seriously bummed. I try to go walking or running every morning. I get up at about six am and put my music on, and depending on my mood and the music I either walk or run. I love the mornings. I love being out there for the sunrise. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Every summer Danny's mom picks a place for us to go and pays for our lodging! It's usually not too far from home, although she did take us all to Disneyland one year, and to South Dakota another year. Lately though because the family is growing and there are a lot more people, we have kept it pretty close. The house she rented was huge and gorgeous. Tons of room for all 19 of us! Still a lot of snow up through Berthoud Pass and the Continental Divide.and a little scary. Seriously...
