http://chronicallycrazy.blogspot.com/2012/10/more-cancer.html

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Friday, October 5, 2012. Right now I am feeling like CLL is a cake walk. AMAZINGLY, I just want to go back to having plain old CLL. In boring ol' CLL news, my numbers at the oncologists office last week were.the same! In fact there was a slight downward trend. Nothing major, but hey! March 7, 2013 at 6:58 PM. How is everything going with your health these days? I hope all is well. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia: Decisions Decisions.

http://chronicallycrazy.blogspot.com/2012/06/decisions-decisions.html

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Speaking of dollars. I owe my oncologist 550 of them. They said I need to pay up before July 1st. Gah. I am tired of this. Only I can't be. Because what is the other option? I really just get so exhausted at the thought of going in to the oncologist. Its like a test. Did I pass? Have I eaten enough of the right things? Have I taken all my supplements? Have I exercised enough? Did my diet changes work?

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia: Being Green

http://chronicallycrazy.blogspot.com/2012/06/being-green.html

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Saturday, June 2, 2012. Today's post is all about the green. Green has always been one of my favorite colors. But now. Now when it matters, green has become my refuge. Where would we be without green? Its power is unmistakable. Green = life. When it comes to tea, green is best. Do you know why you should drink it? Eliminates free radicals (slows aging! Helps fight bacteria and viruses, cancer. Increases good flora in your digestive tract.

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia: Freaking Out and Being Calm

http://chronicallycrazy.blogspot.com/2012/06/freaking-out-and-being-calm.html

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Saturday, June 2, 2012. Freaking Out and Being Calm. What I have learned about this so far, is that even if I am in the poor prognosis category, it doesn't set in stone how things will play out. There have been plenty of people with the bad markers that have gone years and years without needing treatment. There have been plenty of people with the "good" markers that needed treatment within the first year of diagnosis. So I am praying.

Apron Strings and Chicken Wings: October 2009

http://apronstringsandchickenwings.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 12, 2009. Forecast: 100% Chance Of Freezing Bunny Water. The chicken water was another thing entirely. I had recently purchased a 5 gallon galvanized waterer. When 5 gallons freezes in a few hours, you know its cold! We found the tutorial for constructing our own heated base. It was extremely easy! Ingredients: Metal Tin w/ a lid. (we used a cookie tin). Like the one shown here. We picked it up at the hardware store for $8. 40 watt bulb (the ones shaped like a candle). We Wish You a Merry...

Apron Strings and Chicken Wings: January 2010

http://apronstringsandchickenwings.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 8, 2010. My wonderful mama prepared 2 Thanksgiving Feasts as we couldn't eat with my sister and her family due to some of us having colds and baby Nicolas's fragile health. She prepared two dinners and hand delivered both, eating twice. We are so blessed with our awesome mom! The day after Thanksgiving was tree day! We found our tree's in the woods once again. This year was special as M'Kayla and Garrett now have their own apartment and got a tree of their own! Christmas was fun, we decid...

Apron Strings and Chicken Wings: June 2010

http://apronstringsandchickenwings.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Each season has its own delicious morning beauty, enhanced by a steaming mug of hot coffee. In the spring I am so thankful that there is no snow and I wrap in a quilt and sit on my porch just admiring the waking of the world after a long winters nap. I note the buds on the trees and the warming of the soil and the anticipation of planting my garden fills me with joyful impatience. I am thankful for mornings. All things are new. All things are possible in the morning. I...For those...

Apron Strings and Chicken Wings: May 2010

http://apronstringsandchickenwings.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 20, 2010. My daughter holding Elsie. I have always dreamed of being a farm-girl. When I lived in the city in Florida, I would line my journals with poems and pictures of the life that tugged at my soul. The desire to connect with the land and nature in this way overwhelms me at times. I have pondered, during moments such as these, where that particular dream may have come from. The obvious answer is that I inherited it from my once upon a time Farm-Girl Mother. She is on her knees in the pe...

Saturday, March 28, 2009. The Lazy Chicks Method of Gardening. Its been a lazy Saturday. Its been in the high 40's but for some reason feels cooler than that. Not quite gardening weather just yet. My chickens begged to differ. I woke up this morning to a horrible screeching/crowing sound coming from Elsie (the lighter colored blond. Was good enough to slip on her shoes and go open the Coop and run door to see if this was the problem. Orabelle. Jumped up and out of the run as soon as M'Kayla. I am pretend...

Monday, October 11, 2010. Tension Tamer, the name of the tea I am drinking this morning instead of my usual black coffee. My taste buds, while not at all averse to the pleasant play of lemon and herbs is wondering where in the heck the coffee is. My mind is sort of wondering too, although lately its been so busy running an endless cycle of worries that I am surprised it even noticed. How to tie my shoes. out. Apron Strings and Chicken Wings: A Lesson In The Rain

http://apronstringsandchickenwings.blogspot.com/2012/06/lesson-in-rain.html

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. A Lesson In The Rain. So this morning, it is pouring. Yesterday evening the rain started, and it is thick and heavy and concealing, and I love it. I felt content in my robe, with organic Montana Morning Coffee from Coffee Traders (The BEST coffee around) in hand and newspaper on the table, it was set to be a good morning. I got dressed and got my keys and started the car. Then I came in and looked at her. My heart broke. What in the hell was I doing? We darted to the car, and it ...

Apron Strings and Chicken Wings: Post Traumatic Sadness. . . and then Spring.

http://apronstringsandchickenwings.blogspot.com/2011/03/post-traumatic-sadness-and-then-spring.html

Sunday, March 13, 2011. Post Traumatic Sadness. . . and then Spring. I have no right to be sad, but I am. Lu on my bed. In late September of last year, Lulu my precious pug died in my arms. What a gift she was. Just as I did with my daughter, I kissed her cheeks, her eyelids, memorized her smell and held her until I was ready to let her go. God Bless that wonderful vet who cried tears with me. I will never forget that. Lulu and Opus at Granny's. 1 day after surgery. I started this blog entry 2 weeks ago ...

Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Ripples of Memories (with link to Ripple Afghan Pattern). I had such a great time making this because my daughter M'Kayla. Being 18, will not have so much time in the future to knit and crochet with her mama. I think that this will be a mothers day present to myself. A weaving of memories. I used this great simple pattern here. If anyone wants to give it a go. Its easy, mindless, and great relaxation :). Friday, May 8, 2009. When you pour bleach into a tub of water.look away! Yes, ...

Chronically Courtney - Finding the Funny in Chronic Pain

Check Me Out On Tumblr! December 15, 2016. When I was a teenager I wanted nothing more than to be normal; with my super short, curly, mousy coloured chemo hair I stuck out like a sore thumb. Luckily in high school everyone was so wrapped up in their own lives and drama that people barely gave me so much as a passing glance on their way to English class. And I grew comfortable in my invisibility. I was never the best at anything. I barely scratched the surface of. Most of the time. But I was. I know I hav...

See, the things I want to write about are difficult. I want to write about the numerous failings of ATOS medicals. About the demonization of benefit applicants in the media. Living with Chronic Migraine

Living with Chronic Migraine. My experience with Botox for Migraine. August 17, 2015. Some years ago I heard about Botox for migraine, and my first thought was about how ridiculous it sounded. I don’t remember why, but I thought it was something, no matter how bad my head hurt, that I would never try. Fast forward to the beginning of this year, and my migraines have done nothing… More My experience with Botox for Migraine. My experience with Botox for Migraine. August 4, 2015.
