Tuesday, June 30, 2015. What have I been doing for the last year? Here are some highlights from this last year:. Including the whole family on holidays. Michael walking in his graduation. I went on a boy scout camping trip with Michael. Ha! Truth be told, we did a lot more this year than is depicted above, but tracking down the pictures and then getting them in the right place on here is becoming waaaay too time consuming. Alright, now for the 2 Cancer Related Things. 1 Get your moles checked. I'm very o...
The C Word: Almost Finished!
http://www.chronicallycrystal.blogspot.com/2013/10/almost-finished.html
Tuesday, October 29, 2013. I am in the middle of my last round of chemo! Yes, you heard me correctly. LAST! In fact, I am done with all the chemos that are really scary for me (doxorubicin, ifosfamide, etoposide, and cisplatin). Actually I don't think etoposide is really a big deal, but it's hard to tell because they always give it to me with ifosfamide, which is scary for my immune system. Granted, he said it was like a 1% chance, but still! Me on day seven: Man, I need to get out of here! Also, I know ...
The C Word: Big News
http://www.chronicallycrystal.blogspot.com/2013/11/big-news.html
Sunday, November 10, 2013. Besides, of course, the big news that I am checking into the hospital for chemo tomorrow for the last time! I will be there through Friday and will get to ring the glorious bell before leaving. For those that don't know, when you finish chemo you get to ring a bell in the infusion clinic and all the other cancer patients clap for you. Expect a video. As I was saying, though, there is other big news. We are moving. to. WISCONSIN! Cheese seems to be the only thing anyone. I think...

Monday, April 22, 2013. Looking Forward to Whatever the Future Holds. Anyway, I didn't start this post to complain about how horrible it's been the last few day. It has been horrible, and I will touch on that, but you would not believe all the amazing experiences I've had in the last few weeks. Oh and people keep asking me about my wig. In the pic with the supermodel next to me (another awesome friend I will always love) I'm wearing my wig! Does it look real? Wednesday, April 10, 2013. God let his Only B...

Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember. Friday, September 7, 2012. After saying my nightly prayer, I slipped into bed and laid there listening to the steady drip, drip, drip of the rain falling off the side of the house until I finally slipped off into a wonderful night of undisturbed sleep. Jots and Thoughts: Grief Showers
http://jocarweaver.blogspot.com/2014/02/grief-showers.html
Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember. Monday, February 3, 2014. It's been 21 months since Joe died. Life has gone on. In fact, life has been pretty darn good. I still miss Joe. I miss his company. I miss his wit. I miss his love. I miss many things that I no longer have since he died. But, life is good and I feel that all in all I've adjusted pretty well. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. I feel as though I'm floundering. Sometimes when I try to move forward it seems as though I get pushed back. I sometimes feel like a little dingy in the middle of the ocean and I'm just being tossed to and fro with no sense of direction. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Also visit my blog post . canon 6d. Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. One thing I'm learning about grief and healing is that I certainly do not understand it. Just when you think you have a handle on it, it comes up out of nowhere to slap you upside your head. Forget that.what am I supposed to for the next month; the next year? Thursday, January 17, 2013. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I guil...
Jots and Thoughts: Last Minute Prayer
http://jocarweaver.blogspot.com/2014/03/last-minute-prayer.html
Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember. Saturday, March 8, 2014. Today was like any typical Saturday workday when I am alone at the office until about 1:39 this afternoon. And then, that's when everything changed. I was terrified that he had returned and for what reason? I realized once again how much my Heavenly Father loves me and I am thankful for the gift of the Holy Ghost. My Heavenly Fa...

Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember. Sunday, February 2, 2014. January where did you go! How is it possible that one month of this new year has come and gone? That being said, it's time to take stock of what I wrote last month as goals for me to accomplish and work on this year. Has anything changed? Have I started making any progress? No change on this yet. Some definite progress here! So, ti...

Chronically Crazy Musings: Life With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Friday, October 5, 2012. Right now I am feeling like CLL is a cake walk. AMAZINGLY, I just want to go back to having plain old CLL. In boring ol' CLL news, my numbers at the oncologists office last week were.the same! In fact there was a slight downward trend. Nothing major, but hey! Tuesday, June 26, 2012. I really just get so exhausted at the thought of going in to the oncologist. Its like a test. Did I pass? Have I exercised enough?

Chronically Creative
Celebrating life and creativity in spite of illness. Dream create. celebrate. Where there is creativity, there is hope." Donna Karan. Friday, March 16, 2018. Picking up My Pen Again. While taking a (forced) break from blogging I've been occupied with trying to get my health back on track. I've been seeking help from an integrative practitioner and trying alternative treatments which I haven't had access to in mainstream medicine. (I posted briefly about it on Instagram. Living with Chronic Migraine
Living with Chronic Migraine. My experience with Botox for Migraine. August 17, 2015. Some years ago I heard about Botox for migraine, and my first thought was about how ridiculous it sounded. I don’t remember why, but I thought it was something, no matter how bad my head hurt, that I would never try. Fast forward to the beginning of this year, and my migraines have done nothing… More My experience with Botox for Migraine. My experience with Botox for Migraine. August 4, 2015. Thursday, 7 April 2016. In my opinion, there is nothing better than sticking on your favourite movie and losing yourself in it completely, and forgetting about all the things that have been stressing you out. Getting cosy with a hot drink, with blankets and pillows, (you could get your carer to make you a blanket fort for enhanced film watching experience! And your comfiest pyjamas, is a real detox for anyone with an illness, whether it be mental or physical, we all need a movie night every now and then.

Chronically Delicate | The crazy ramblings of a lupie spoonie.
The crazy ramblings of a lupie spoonie. With kids it tends to be a different story. Not many of them were never taught to not run up on a dog. But for those who know the actions to do, I appreciate deeply. Especially when I come across kids that are between the ages of 6 and 10. The only downside was that my thumbs and wrist were giving me issues all throughout. Had that checked and turns out I may have Carpel Tunnel. Yay! Anyways, once the kabobs were done, I set it up with some brown rice I had made ea...
