Breakfast and Christmas on the Fly at D.V. Aiport. Sorry I’m Out… →. December 27, 2009 · 12:35 am. 8216;Tis the Season…For Hummingbirds! The first holiday I ever spent in a warmer climate was: Thanksgiving, 1989 on Captiva Island in Florida. I said to myself, “hmmm, this isn’t so bad! This year, I spent Christmas in Phoenix and we were visited by a winged angelic creature – a hummingbird. The usual hummingbird photo. I know, I know…life is rough! Happy holidays wherever you may be…. 5 responses to “.

I was then faced with making a decision- to accept or not to...But -...

create your happy: the rest of the 24 days
http://createyourhappy.blogspot.com/2014/12/day-17-and-18-of-24.html
Sunday, December 28, 2014. The rest of the 24 days. Christmas is over. And I am relieved that it is. Not that I didn't enjoy the holiday season because I did, especially since the 24 Days of Giving. Here's how the 24 Days of Giving. Day 18 to 23 - To be honest, I don't really remember what I gave, if anything, these days. The intention was always there to give but some days it just didn't happen. Day 24 - I baked this cake. Even though I missed quite a few days to give this was, overall, an amazing exper...

Friday, June 5, 2015. Tennessee vacation - part two. Our first stop in the Smokies was at Cades Cove. We drove the loop and saw lots of wildlife, including a black bear. Good thing we were in our car and there were park rangers standing guard so I felt completely safe. The bear could have cared less about the dozen or so people taking pictures of him from the roadside, he was probably too busy foraging for food. We drove up one of the mountain roads and went on a short hike. Just look at that view! It's ...

Sorry I’m Out…. February 4, 2010 · 2:00 pm. We were hiking in the Cave Creek Preserve area, about thirty-five miles due north of a more well-known landmark, Camelback Mountain. Camelback in the distance. The plant in the foreground is one of my favorite in the desert. I gasped when we came around a bend and faced a field of them! Must find out what theyre called. Like many varieties in the desert, they aren’t as friendly as they look though:. 8221; against the bright blue sky:. Where waterfall had been!

I like this photo because it’s a bit all over the place the wild styles of Chihuly, the desert, the manmade structures. As if it were evolving. Chihuly Exhibit, Desert Botanical Garden, 2009. Most of my Creativity is in the realm of the written word though I can do some mean brainstorming on conceptual and design. I love making connections where it seems none exist. I am getting into digital photography and appreciating Beauty in any form, wherever she is to be found! Ode to a Statistic. But is it ample?

I think of Hemingway’s “A Moveable Feast”. (I envision him scribbling away in a Paris cafe, eating, drinking and enjoying the scene, creating his work.). If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast. - Hem to a friend, 1950. I enjoy writing. I love playing with words. Inspiration comes from travel, food and other writers! I wish Hem had run some marathons, then I’d be all set!
