New Get Involved Page. Alcohol and Other Drugs. The City Mission would not be able to provide quality services to our clients without the direct assistance of over 190 volunteers. When the volunteer first approaches the Mission an application form is sent out to them. An interview is then arranged which involves matching the volunteer to the service where they have an interest. A police check is required to ensure safety of the volunteers and clients.
