Saturday, 20 April 2013. This week Class 1 have been learning all about spring. We have been learning the names of different flowers that grow in spring time and finding out how flowers grow. We planted our own Marigolds. We are really excited about them and hope they start growing soon. On Friday Miss Corse set us a challenge. We had to make a flower, with all its parts, using any of the materials provided. We had to think ca refull. Y about how we would make our flowers. Here we are hard at work.

Sunday, 2 November 2014. We have been very busy this week doing lots of Halloween themed work. On Wednesday we read the story 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson. We were then set the challenge to design and make our own brooms. We had to draw a plan and list the materials we needed before we started to make it. Here we are busy making our brooms. Here are our finished brooms. What do you think? We also decorated buns to make Monster Buns. We used icing and different sweets to create a scary face.

Glaitness Class 1A 2010/11. Monday, 20 June 2011. As it is nearly the end of term, 1A had a class day out. First we went to Breck Farm. We saw lots of animals and enjoyed feeding and petting them.
