Enjoy what is happening in the creative and innovative Year 2 learning environment. Saturday, 25 June 2016. Mini Excursion - Bushland near the School. On Wednesday we ventured down the fire trail behind Bunyan's Land. It was a perfect sunny day and the bush was alive with wonder. We had a number of parents join us and we experienced the creek flowing as well birds and nature at its best. We looked for signs of human invasion and found some. We also looked for natural happenings - found these as well.

Enjoy what is happening in the creative and innovative Year 2 learning environment. Thursday, 28 April 2016. Getting straight back into it. This week Year 2 started our new literacy unit by making predictions and checking them after reading Where The Forest Meets The Sea by Jeanie Baker. We found some faint pictures of dinosaurs, possums and Aboriginal children in each of the pictures. Ask your child to explain why they were only drawn as faint outlines in each of the pages.
