Thursday, 30 June 2016. End Of Term 2. It's hard to believe that we have reached the end of another term and that Kindergarten are now half way through their first year of school. If you were able to join us at the assembly today (Friday), you would agree that it was wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements made throughout the term. Enjoy what is happening in the creative and innovative Year 2 learning environment. Saturday, 25 June 2016. Mini Excursion - Bushland near the School. On Wednesday we ventured down the fire trail behind Bunyan's Land. It was a perfect sunny day and the bush was alive with wonder. We had a number of parents join us and we experienced the creek flowing as well birds and nature at its best. We looked for signs of human invasion and found some. We also looked for natural happenings - found these as well.

Enjoy what is happening in the creative and innovative Year 2 learning environment. Thursday, 28 April 2016. Getting straight back into it. This week Year 2 started our new literacy unit by making predictions and checking them after reading Where The Forest Meets The Sea by Jeanie Baker. We found some faint pictures of dinosaurs, possums and Aboriginal children in each of the pictures. Ask your child to explain why they were only drawn as faint outlines in each of the pages. Tuesday, 6 December 2016. Year 1 Strings Visit. Last Friday Year 1 visited us with their violins and cellos, so we could see what we will be doing next year. They performed for us and then showed us their instruments. Then we even got a turn. Kindy at Year 6 Fete. Kindy had such fun attending the Year 6 fete.
