http://claynfiber.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Eclectic posts of clay and fiber art with a touch of wild life and vegan cuisine. Monday, May 25, 2015. A few days ago as I was cleaning up a patch of the garden this beautiful swallowtail swooped right in and around me, landing on and off of what remains of my parsley. Luckily I had my camera hanging around my neck so I tried to grab a few shots. These little ones were in their first or second instar, indicated by the white around their middle section. Shout Out to My Vegan Hubby! | Little Shop of Goodness
https://littleshopofgoodness.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/shout-out-to-my-vegan-hubby
Little Shop of Goodness. A little blog filled with vegan and raw food goodness…. Shout Out to My Vegan Hubby! My husband and I have been 100% Vegan (and high raw) since July 28, 2013. What promted us to do this? Well, he has been a vegetarian for about 20 years, but an unhealthy one (his words.) At this time, I had been a vegetarian for about 1 year and was headed for the same unhealthy vegetarian status.😦. One day we watched Fork Over Knives and Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead and it finally clicked for us!

Like a loose bobbin come with me as I wind through the twists and tangles of quilting. Saturday, March 22, 2014. Tumbling with Artistic Licence. It's taken me some time to come up with an idea for the Tangled Textiles challenge theme "Artistic License". From the time it was announced by Judy, several events have intervened and now I'm late. I've been away (more about that in another post). Oh well, best get on with it. I had attended another session at Asilomar this year and took a class with Sue Benner.

Like a loose bobbin come with me as I wind through the twists and tangles of quilting. Sunday, January 12, 2014. A Tribute and a Reveal. I can now show you what I have been working on for my MUSIC challenge. It took some time to come up with the idea and after some researching on the web I decided a tribute to Frank Mills' melody. Made plastic templates, appliqued a musical staff in place and overlaid the notes. Now I needed a dancer. I found a ballerina silhouette, created another template and fused...

Clay and Fiber
Eclectic posts of clay and fiber art with a touch of wild life and vegan cuisine. Friday, February 23, 2018. First Glaze Firing Since 2016! As I was working on mixing up glazes I ran out of frit 3134 so just did some tests of what I had made and glazed a few pieces. Inspired by the totems we made at JCC a couple years ago I made a couple more, just playing with the clay. I have a few ideas of more involved pieces but don't have definite plans yet. I mixed one other glaze or thought I had! Wow, it's 2018!

Hunt Happenings
What are those Hunts up to? Friday, October 31, 2014. We love to dress up for Halloween. Sadly, this year is the first time we did not do a family theme. So sad. But everyone enjoyed their costumes. Rebekah wanted to be Elsa from Frozen. Her friend, Bridgette, dressed up as Anna. There were a TON of Elsas and Annas running around. Emma wanted to be a pirate. We based it off of some pictures of Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of the Caribbean. There's a video below about these planes. Monday, October 27, 2014.
