Sarah's Kitchen: Pulled Pork Burrito
http://sarahscooking.blogspot.com/2009/04/pulled-pork-burrito.html
Sunday, April 12, 2009. I used the kind of tortillas you cook. Then I made brown rice in the rice cooker. 3 cups of rice. 6 cups of water. 2 TBSP of butter or olive oil. 1 tsp of salt. 1 TBSP of minced garlic. Then I warmed up frozen corn with butter. The pork I cooked all day. In a blender I put. 1 cup of lemon juice (bottled is fine). Mrs Dash or Johnny's spice to taste. 2 yellow or red bell peppers. Used one of those long pork roasts from Costco or Sams Club (about 9-10 lbs). We all enjoy it. Well, I ...

Sarah's Kitchen: Tres Leches
http://sarahscooking.blogspot.com/2008/09/tres-leches.html
Sunday, September 21, 2008. In Texas we fed the missionaries quite often. When Elder Tingey left, I asked what his favorite dessert was and he said Tres Leches Cake. So I went on the internet and found this recipe.it has been a family favorite ever since. I took it to Pine Wood Durby and he hurried and picked it as his cake, so we brought it back home. It is better if made and put in the fridge over night or at least 4-6 hours before serving. 1 box Duncan Hines golden butter recipe cake mix. Most of you ...

Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.: November 2012
http://lifeistobeenjoyed.blogspot.com/2013/01/november-2012.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Addison was baptized on November 3rd. It was a JOYOUS day! My parents, Jesse's dad and most of his family (including 15 cousins) were able to come.. The day started out with the whole family going to Addison's basketball game. After the baptism we came back to our house for dinner and then all went to the Boise Temple Open House (for about a year and a half the Boise Temple has been closed during a major renovation). It was a perfect day. Hunter with his dance partner, Paige.

Friday, October 15, 2010. Not long till I'm done! Well, for those that are enjoying these pictures here is another one. This is 32 weeks. I can't believe I still have a good five more weeks. These days I'm in pain and hoping that this little one will come early but not to early. I'm measuring a month early and now we are thinking that this one might be around 10 pounds. Life has been very busy these days and it's only going to get more so. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Two People, One Family.

Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.: November 2012
http://lifeistobeenjoyed.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2012. Braden, 7th Grade. Hunter, 9th Grade and Megan, 11th Grade. Chase, 1st Grade and Addison, 2nd Grade. Which brings me to a new phase of life. After 17 years of having a young child with me during the day, all the kids are in school full day. It's a bit of a transition, since I absolutely love preschoolers, but it is rewarding to see them growing up and thriving.. Another new phase: All FIVE kids being in sports at the same time. CRAZY! And my personal favorite. In August we ...

http://lifeistobeenjoyed.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 26, 2012. I LOVE. SUMMER. No schedules- No school- No time-consuming sports- No waking up really early! We started our Summer Break off with a bang by going to Newport Beach and Disneyland! The Newport Beach Temple. This was the first time Addison and Chase had gone to Disneyland. We decided that we would start the day as a family and go on all the non-scary rides together. Then in the afternoon we would split off into big kids/little kids. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, November 22, 2011. One More Angel in Heaven. This past month has been an emotional, frantic whirlwind. On October 14th, my amazing mother-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Monday night, November 21st, on her birthday, she passed away at 11:40 pm. 5-1/2 weeks from diagnoses to death. I can't even process all of this. She will be sorely missed. As devastating as this is, we are so grateful for the gospel, the Savior, and the Plan of Salvation. Grandy, we love you forever! Megan, Age 17.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. This news came as a big shock. We were sure it was a girl. The oldest is very excited to have a brother. I'm still getting use to the idea since for the last five month I thought it was a girl. I even made girl stuff. Boy's are great too and he will be loved by this family. Now the hard part a name!
