Possum's Journey: Crafting for the Baby
http://possumandwombat.blogspot.com/2009/03/crafting-for-baby.html
A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Tuesday, 10 March 2009. Crafting for the Baby. A few things I've been sewing and knitting up for my Bellyfruit. A mei tai made with this. Pattern and some delicious Japanese mushroom fabric. It also has a hood/headrest which I'm going to adapt to be removable via snaps, but I'm not putting that on just yet. This was made for the baby to be carried in, but I asked DH and Elliot to test it for me and they're hooked! And the longies are Sheepy Pants.

Possum's Journey: Reusable Coffee Bags for One
http://possumandwombat.blogspot.com/2009/01/reusable-coffee-bags-for-one.html
A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Thursday, 1 January 2009. Reusable Coffee Bags for One. I'm going to take a risk and assume that Em is off partying in Fiji with no internet access. Hopefully, if she does have net access there, she will have better things to do than to check this blog. Before she left to go galavanting across the Pacific Islands yet again, she asked me to make these for her. I overlocked the edges all around. I then threaded a length of cotton string through the ...

Possum's Journey: Creative Holidays
http://possumandwombat.blogspot.com/2009/02/creative-holidays.html
A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Tuesday, 3 February 2009. Turns out that the only 'net access in Fiji would have required Em to hitch a lift in a boat out in the middle of nowhere, so I was safe. She wasn't *that* desperate for her emails. Here are a few quick pics of things I’ve been up to over the holidays. Except for moving house. I don’t have pics of that, but it certainly took up most of my time and energy. A perfect set for the Bellyfruit for winter. I like this nappy even...

Possum's Journey: May 2008
http://possumandwombat.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Tuesday, 27 May 2008. Progress report for 2008. What have we bought new so far this year? I thought I should do a list of the times we have broken our consumption challenge. Perhaps you guys could give suggestions for how to avoid these pitfalls in future? What am I supposed to do? I can't think of a consumption-less alternative for me, and I am not about to suggest that Andrew should grow a full beard. Glue, varnish, nails. Back in Jan/Feb Elliot...

A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Tuesday, 3 June 2008. This month I am going to try to giveup some of the consumptions that I have been hanging on to. Possum's Journey: October 2008
http://possumandwombat.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Saturday, 25 October 2008. Sewing FOs - now with action shots! I have so many things on my 'to do' list, and so many half finished projects or things needing repairs, that sometimes I despair of ever getting anything done. It can be overwhelming at times. First, some new pants for Elliot. He has been growing like a bean sprout, with his pants' hems halfway up his calves. It was time to pull out my own pattern design. In this pic it doesn't have th...

Possum's Journey: September 2008
http://possumandwombat.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A journey of creativity after my 'Consumption Challenge'. Tuesday, 30 September 2008. FAK - this is slow! The sneak peek I showed of my swap worked far too well. My swapee didn't hesitate to name me as the culprit. So I figure it's time I showed the finished piece. This 9-12 month shift/pinny is made from some navy drill which has been sitting in my fabric stash for longer than I can remember. The lining is from an op-shopped doona cover you may remember from the apron I made for Dinnae. Elliot, DH and I...
