Dear fellow humans whom I share the roads with when I am on my bicycle,. Leave me alone. Please. Please do not see how close to me you can get. Please keep your vehicle on your side of the white line. Your vehicle is massive and would squish me like a bug. I like being alive. Well I'd rather not be hassled either. I'm just out for a ride because it is what I enjoy.

Because it has more travel than I need. Because it's not a fully-rigid 29er. Because it's a funny tire size. Give me shit because I'm slow and old. Sites, sounds and smells of a grease junkie. This is long overdue, I realize but, you know, life. The crew for the trip consisted of Jeff, Scott and myself. That’s it. A hearty trio! Before you judge on our lack of carved pumpkins, I must say it's hard to do such solo with two youngsters! Dom had to work so I opted for Potato Head pieces in lieu of chasing Zoe around with a knife in my hand! I think they look great and we can use them again next year. I liked the idea.
