Punctuating the empty spaces. And also this…. January 13, 2012. Sometimes, when I laugh at other people’s jokes, I get worried that if you were to overhear me you’d get jealous. Punctuating the empty spaces. The life of a broadway dog. August 29, 2011. She also really liked the tony awards. She likes showtunes eh. She takes after me that way. She’s a broadway dog. In her dreams she’s tapdancing. And the some uppity little toy poodle comes along to try to take her role. By being younger and “cuter”. Hey, life is hard when you’re a broadway dog. They’re always looking for something new. But mags has heart and soul. And a solid work ethic. And a classic kind of beauty. July 26, 2011.

Punctuating the empty spaces. August 2, 2012. My four-year-old nephew came to visit recently. We had the conversation I recounted for my friend Lisa below. Sarah: Sam has decided mike and i must have a son and name him sammy. And he will teach him all the important grown up stuff. Lisa: hahah. sammy? That’s a little too close to call! Sarah: like how to ride on people’s shoulders. Lisa: yes, that is an important task. Sarah : i was like, “you’re sammy! Sarah : and he said “NO! I’m SAM.”. A Bun In the Oven.

http://iloveminiatures.blogspot.com/2012/06/wiww-birds-flying-away-from-heat.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. WIwW: Birds flying away from the heat. It's hot here. Like really hot. 98 degrees and 100% humidity hot. Iced coffee sweating all over your clothes hot. I tried to dress appropriately today by wearing as few clothes as possible. It was still too many. :-). Tiffany look-a-like, Canal Street, NYC. Montego Bay, Payless. PS The back side of this top is super cute and worth a close up. (You know, terrible picture not withstanding). June 22, 2012 at 4:44 PM. A Few of My Favorite Things.
Miniature Things: MIM: Magic Salmon
http://iloveminiatures.blogspot.com/2012/07/mim-magic-salmon.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. First I needed a side dish though. Enter: Super Simple Zucchini Mushroom Orzo. I didn't even think about it because I've had plenty of pine nuts in my pesto in the past, but I think this was a different batch, or old or something? Anyway, lesson learned, pine nuts are now kept in the freezer, and I'll know the problem if I feel like I've been licking nickles in the future. Insta-salmon. I swear to you, I was sooo skeptical about this. How in the world could it possibly work?

Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Cause Diamonds are a Girls best friend". It's somewhat possible that my love for brown paper packages tied up in strings has been replaced by robin's egg blue boxes tied up in white ribbon. Never in my life, did I ever think I'd set foot into a glitzy jewelers like Tiffany and Co., willing and able to purchase. Never once were we treated like lesser customers because we weren't buying 20k engagement rings, and every salesperson was enthusiastic about letting us try on whatever ...

Friday, June 29, 2012. FFF: The MTA Owns Me. Yeah for a coffee morning! Not that uncommon right? I mean, we all hate to miss the last bus or train. Sometimes I feel like I take that a step further though. For example when I take the subway, and there are several lines that get me to similar places. I'll often say to myself, "Okay, if the 2 train comes, then you can go to the mall and look at new skirts and shoes, but if the 5 train comes first? A strange departure from how I used to think. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Nerd alert. I just figured out you can order FUN stamps online to be delivered right to your door through USPS. It's not the same, but makes me feel a little bit like a kid at heart when I used to walk the beach with my Gramma to her post office in Northern Michigan and get fun stamps. I'm not a fan of flags and liberty bells. Give me color or give me email! Pixar ones coming in the fall too. Monday, July 4, 2011. Hope you celebrated in style. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Miniature Things: June 2011
http://iloveminiatures.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. On the recent subject of obsessions, I've got another thing to share. I was reading an article in the Times a few weeks back about a venture capital firm that is going to open an office in Manhattan this summer. The article went on to explain some of the VC firm's companies. One was called Birchbox. I thought "what the hell is that? So I googled it to find out. Oh be still my miniature heart. It's beauty samples (the best kind of miniatures! So between this new perfume to try (I'm...

Commas & Ampersands | punctuating the empty spaces
Punctuating the empty spaces. From a Typo, Brilliance. September 7, 2012. The other day, I texted “bevok” when I meant to type “be ok.” My friend Heather thought I was just using big, fancy words again. Then this happened:. I looked up bevok. not a word. We need to give it a definition. So we can use it. I sort of equate it to balking. So to bevok is to rebel? Or to refuse to do something? While camping (like a bivouac)? But to refuse/rebel for a specifi. I was going to say specific reason. August 2, 2012.

commasandapostrophes – Write to live. Live to write.
Write to live. Live to write. A typical teenager in India faces a lot more dilemmas in life than anyone else. While it is entirely normal in countries like U.S. to leave your parents’ house after a certain period, Indians don’t think the same way. The ‘Indian values’ are far different from any other country. If an Indian teenager plans to leave his parents’ house, it is considered nothing less of blasphemous. Instead of getting encouraged to do so, he is made to hear few of the worst things in life.
