Meet Me For Dinner?: May 2008
http://meetmefordinner-jess.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Ichiban Japanese Restaurant: 4641 Washtenaw Ave. Ann Arbor. That is Alison and me standing outside the new Ichiban Japanese Restaurant. It is located in the strip mall across from Spicetree Apartments along with Bistro Bar and Grill, Dynasty Buffet, the Comcast Office, the Bingo Hall and the drive-thru Starbucks which used to be a Blockbuster (do you know where I mean, yet? Hout my reviews, I love me some diet Pepsi). The typical chef at the table, fire leaping, and laughter erup...

Meet Me For Dinner?: Paradise Restaurant
http://meetmefordinner-jess.blogspot.com/2008/05/paradise-restaurant.html
Friday, May 16, 2008. Paradise Restaurant: 883 West Eisenhower Parkway, Ann Arbor. Located in the Collonade Shopping Center (Big Moes, some hair place, etc. etc.) near the Briarwood Mall, Paradise Restaurant specializes in Chinese and Vietnamese Cuisine. As the first Chinese restaurant visited in my quest for W.C. restaurant knowledge, I was actually feeling a bit confident about the experience. Frankly, I've. Eaten at Paradise before, so I knew that I'd be okay. Being Chr. Why do I dislike Chinese food?

Making Myself at Home: Corn Stalker
http://makingmyselfathome.blogspot.com/2009/08/corn-stalker.html
Making Myself at Home. Wherein I learn how to settle down, one meal, one pet, one crocheted amigurumi at a time. Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Our corn continues to grow and proliferate; we now have three tassels and the makings of two ears. We also have a stalker. . Perhaps stalker might be too strong of a word. However, when Mike and I came home for lunch today (one of the perks of living so close to work now! Can you say creepy? What do you plan to do with those photos? Report us to Monsanto.

Making Myself at Home. Wherein I learn how to settle down, one meal, one pet, one crocheted amigurumi at a time. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Four ears and a celebrity sighting. Lots of things happening but little time to post; leave it to a night of insomnia to finally get me behind the keyboard! The corn is coming along as well as can be expected, I suppose! 160;"Is that corn? 160;"That's so cool! We couldn't believe it when it started growing.". 160;"Wait you didn't plant it? We recognized Anthony Edward...

My Name is Erwin: Crying at Elixia
http://mynameiserwin.blogspot.com/2009/01/crying-at-elixia.html
Wednesday, January 21, 2009. I saw you crying. I saw you crying, at El-ix-ia. My New Year's Resolution is to STOP crying at my Elixia gym! I admit, it's not your usual, run-of-the-mill sort of resolution like "Lose 15 lbs" or "Stop biting fingernails". (I'll take those too, please! I have gotten teary eyed a total of three times now at the gym while working out on the eliptical cross trainer. It was level 6, fat burner program - to be specific. And I wasn't crying because I "was feeling the burn"! 8730; ...

Making Myself at Home: January 2009
http://makingmyselfathome.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Making Myself at Home. Wherein I learn how to settle down, one meal, one pet, one crocheted amigurumi at a time. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Maggie is a social climber. Oh, how long ago those days seem. Slowly at first, Maggie began demanding things- to be pet, for instance, or a toy, or just some good, old-fashioned, wrestling time. She'd demand things with a snort, or a wag of a tail, or a paw. Then came the bark. Was this just going to get worse? So now, I have to start exerting my dominance over her...

Making Myself at Home. Wherein I learn how to settle down, one meal, one pet, one crocheted amigurumi at a time. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Today marks my second day home sick this week. . I went about the rest of my day, convincing myself that all I needed was to get moving. My head started aching terribly. Just dehydration, I said, drinking large glasses of water, which only served to make my throat start itching. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Overheard, part 2.

Making Myself at Home: February 2009
http://makingmyselfathome.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Making Myself at Home. Wherein I learn how to settle down, one meal, one pet, one crocheted amigurumi at a time. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Why You Should Pay Attention at the Grocery Store. I stop. Even decaffeinated coffee isn't "naturally" caffeine free. What was this strange coffee? I examine the label. It turns out that it wasn't coffee at all, but rather, a coffee-like beverage made from chicory, carob, almonds, and some other nonsense. What the hell? Who comes up with this?
