This month I had a slight cake disaster, and as I completed the challenge the day before the posting date, I had neither the time nor the inclination to make another cake. Here’s what I learned:. Preparation Time: 20 minutes. 16 ounces (1 pound) (454 grams) of semisweet chocolate, roughly chopped. 5 large eggs separated.
