Behind The Red Door: April 2013
http://behindthered-door.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Behind The Red Door. Tuesday, April 2, 2013. In protest to all the cute Easter dresses and crafts available for little girls, and the lack of cute things for boys, I organized a bow tie making day with a few of our good friends. We got a picture of the handsome boys wearing their ties (and us moms) at church on Easter. Isn't it a fine looking group of little friends? Posted by Amber and Henry. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Behind The Red Door: July 2014
http://behindthered-door.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Behind The Red Door. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Wet and Wild Wednesday. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you filled 100 water balloons and set a group of three year olds loose with them outside? I think the day was a success. Rarely has our back yard been filled with so much squealing, laughing, and hyper energy. And for a group of preschoolers there were relatively few altercations that required adult intervention. Here are a few pictures from our wet morning. Posted by Amber and Henry.

Behind The Red Door: Mother's Day: counting my blessings
http://behindthered-door.blogspot.com/2014/05/mother-day-counting-my-blessings.html
Behind The Red Door. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Mothers Day: counting my blessings. Today I'm feeling very lucky to be the mother of two wonderful kids. They are two very special and unique individuals, a and I'm so blessed to get to spend time with them and help them grow. I've had a lot of different experiences, worked a lot of different jobs and met a lot of interesting people, but I have learned and grown more from being a mother than any other experience. Both kiddos the day they were born.

Behind The Red Door: January 2014
http://behindthered-door.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Behind The Red Door. Friday, January 24, 2014. Since I'm so behind on posts, let me just do a quick one to celebrate Henry's graduation last month. After two solid years of classes and capstone work (while working full time) Henry finished his MBA through the Naval Postgraduate school. This was us after the ceremony. It felt great to be outside and by the water. We went a couple times to fishermans a wharf. Posted by Amber and Henry. Once Henson got used to the strong smell (we had a couple close calls w...

Behind The Red Door: Now I've heard everything
http://behindthered-door.blogspot.com/2014/04/now-i-heard-everything.html
Behind The Red Door. Thursday, April 17, 2014. Now Ive heard everything. I have come to accept that when you are pregnant you will receive unsolicited advice and questions from strangers. There is just something about a pregnant belly that makes otherwise rational people loose all boundaries. This doesn't bother me any more. In fact, I kind of get a kick out of some of the crazy comments. However today I got maybe the strangest one I have ever heard. Yes, a hernia. And yes, not me, the baby. Story time w...

I tell you what, this grave yard shift thing.it's a killer :) I hear all kinds of crazy sounds and even finally closed the blinds cuz I kept imagining some crazy person just standing outside the window waiting to freak me out ha ha. I know I'm a whimp. it's ok :). Funny that my last post was about graves, and I think it was about thinking, and the sunrise too ha ha. I wish I could think of more exciting things to talk about, but I am not really good ...

Saturday, March 13, 2010. Life's full of changes. Well I apparently SUCK at updating my blog :) Sorry folks! Kinsley is just as cute as ever :) She definitely has hit the terrible two's but her good days out weigh her bad so it's fun! She is currently obsessed with Dora and Pooh :) She graduated to a big girl bed and has done REALLY well with it :) It makes me feel so old and so sad but so happy to watch her grow! I've been torn about having another one too. With the boys we have a family of 6!

The Timdog's: Life's Little Updates
http://timpsons.blogspot.com/2009/09/lifes-little-updates.html
Thursday, September 10, 2009. While we were up there we headed up to Yellowstone and visited the Bear and Wolf Park. The bears were huge :) It was cool to see them so close. Thanks Mandi for putting it all together for us ;) It was a blast! Paul went to St.Anthony, Idaho to hike up the Teton's with his dad and some of his siblings and nieces and nephews. He had a blast as well! Then the first weekend in August we had our first encounter with 911! Then the hiking and camping adventures began! So we got in...
