Friday, January 11, 2013. Turkey Day and Christmas! Time to finally update. I really have no clue why I have been so anti-blogging lately but here it is! Thanksgiving this year was fun! We had our normal small dinner with just us and like last year that night we went to Disney on Ice. Lily and Ellie got to dress up and I brought some fun things like glow sticks and princess wands for them to have while watching the show! I really enjoy going to things like this. It makes me wish I could ice skate! I didn...

The Fools are Growing. A history of our growing family, as we travel, grow, and enjoy life together. Wednesday, February 12, 2014. How Fast Life Changes. So in the last month things have changed quite a bit for our little family and around our house. Not as much as in David's and Heidi's house but still. We have been saying it most every night since the year began and he is starting to know parts of it. Our hope is that by June he will be able to do most if not all of it when someone gets him started.

Friday, July 19, 2013. Lily and Ellie have loved playing in these cute outfits they got from a friend for their birthday! I can hardly get them to wear anything else. My super cute girls! I actually cut it myself this time. There are a few spots that are a little off but overall it looks pretty good. Most importantly- she likes it. Now I have to figure out how to trim Ellie's hair so she wont be upset that she didn't get her hair cut too. Friday, July 12, 2013. Lily and Ellie are 5 years old! She let the...

I thought I would give a quick tour of the house we stayed in for the reunion because it was super cute, and I want to remember it! The house was a store that has survived two fires in Bandon. It is on the Coquille river and has a view of the lighthouse! Great kitchen with dishwasher! Big table and lots of space to eat and play games! Big bedroom that the Olander's stayed in. Bathroom connecting two rooms. On the way ba...

Enjoying the simple things: Eyebrows in question
http://montydob.blogspot.com/2011/06/eyebrows-in-question.html
Enjoying the simple things. A little of everything; a lot of mom {diy, life and family}. Friday, June 10, 2011. We just happened to be goofing around and now I have a recent snapshot with the eyebrows in question! Very time I go get my haircut, I am asked if I want to have my eyebrows waxed and every time I say, "No thanks.". Do you think they are trying to tell me something? Come on, at least they are not this bad. I think birds could build a nest in there. Have a good weekend! June 10, 2011 at 8:58 AM.

Enjoying the simple things. A little of everything; a lot of mom {diy, life and family}. Picnic and a paint stick pendant update. Thursday, June 16, 2011. On the day before school ended, the third grade classes (2) held magic shows and a picnic for the parents. It was a perfect day - no humidity. The school provided a picnic lunch and we sat under a big shade tree enjoying all of the excited talk among the kids. We played a game of kickball, parents vs kids and can you guess who won? How fun for an end o...

Enjoying the simple things: Quality control - ordering prints
http://montydob.blogspot.com/2011/08/quality-control.html
Enjoying the simple things. A little of everything; a lot of mom {diy, life and family}. Quality control - ordering prints. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Am attempting to make my own canvas prints. When I received the first three of my five prints, I quickly opened up the tube to see how they looked and tacked them up on the wall for placement. You can see the scrape from the printer in the top photo, an apparent quality control issue. And if I pan out you can see another error. Have a nice day! Paint stic...
