The grade 4/5 class worked with the grade ones to plant seeds and here we are transplanting the seedlings. They got a bit leggy, but we'll see how they fare now that they are in direct sunlight. In the future we'll have to use the courtyard to produce sturdier seedlings. These are shelling peas and they will be on the north side of the garden. Mushrooms and star fruit in the centre, with celery on the border.

June 3, 2014. We kicked it off with some amazing recipes from The Grilling Book. Watermelon and Grapefruit Fresca. Korean Kalbi and Beef Ribs. Finished Plate (beef ribs are missing but added grilled corn). We loved the cookbook. The recipes were straightforward and the food was full of flavor.
