Foodie in Flight: February 2012

Sunday, February 26, 2012. First Supper Club = Success. Nothing angers me more than going out to eat, expecting the food to be good, it turns out to be awful and then you have to still pay for it! This has happened to us more often than not, and we always leave asking ourselves, "why didn't we just cook at home? I had an idea there were people feeling the same way so I rounded up a couple of fellow foodies and we started a good ol' fashioned supper club. We made the pasta. From stratch. By hand. I had 4 ...

Wednesday, February 25, 2009. A late Tuesday with Dorie- Caramel Crunch Bars. Opps I am a bit late on TWD this week, but hey I have had a pretty legitimate excuse! I have been here for the past week. Just got home on the red eye yesterday. We had spent some time at the beach, and we did some of this. Saw so many of these. and they are just as majestic and magical in person as you would expect. Once again I used Pamela's GF Flour Mix and it worked like a charm. Great choice! Great site. :). This is the fi...

Find comfort here in my warm and cozy kitchen. Laquo; Great Gift Idea……Linnea Design 2012 Poster Calendar. Home Is Where The Heart Is. October 11, 2011 by juju73. As a Southerner, you are born with the inherent capability to do many things, or so it is believed. Southerners by nature are very proud of their heritage, as I am of mine. The ability to make splendid fried chicken, barbecue, sweet tea, and biscuits, some think, are something a Southerner is just born knowing how to do. Not the case with me.

Too Many Dirty Dishes: January 2010

http://toomanydirtydishes.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Too Many Dirty Dishes. A food lover's reflections on good times in and out of the kitchen. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Gina is the secret ingredient in Too Many Dirty Dishes. She's my editor-in-chief, dedicated taster, and usually my only reader. She's also the friend who will come to the emergency room when I'm really, really scared. I love her for many things, but that's the one I will cherish forever. So where is the Cocoa-Nana bread, you ask? The recipe created quite a stir on Tuesdays with Dorie.
