UK recipe books tested. Whats in your larder? Rachel Allen: Round 2 and Christmas Hampers. I mentioned in the last update that we had not finished with Rachel Allen’s “Favourite Food at Home”, and that we were about to settle down for Chorizo and Feta Frittata. UK recipe books tested. Whats in your larder? Tana Ramsay's Real Family Food. Can you imagine trying to cook your own thing with a chef that good about? 8220;How did you like the mash Gordon? 8220;It was good, really good. Well done sweetheart. I probably would have added a touch more salt and pepper myself, and you’ll find that adding a hint of saffron really lends flavour to an otherwise bland accompaniment”. 8220;Oh right… Can you get some saffron from work for me? You get the idea. I’d have to ...

http://cookbooktestlab.blogspot.com/2010/12/escapades-with-processed-frozen-food.html
UK recipe books tested. Whats in your larder? Escapades with processed frozen food. I heated it up, all went down well. I tried some of everything. It was fine, if not spectacular. The Historic Oven | Cooking my way through the decades
Cooking my way through the decades. Sounds like a medical problem . . . Would you care for a topical ointment for your Green Balls? This is not a joke; that is the real name of the next appetizer on The Historic Oven. Mix together 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese, 1/2 cup minced cooked ham, 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard, 1 egg yolk, 1/4 tsp. salt, dash of pepper. Form into balls. Roll in minced chives or parsley.
