Cook Free or Die: Roasted Garlic

http://cookfreeordie.blogspot.com/2008/06/roasted-garlic.html

About 20 heads of garlic, unpeeled. 1 Cut the tops off of all the heads of garlic and place the cut side up on the pan. 2 Using a pastry brush, paint olive oil on the tops of all the heads of garlic, then top with salt and pepper. If you don't have a pastry brush, you can drizzle on the oil. 4 Take out of the oven and let the garlic cool off. Using a fork to pull the cloves of garlic out of the head and put in a jar. You can also squeeze the cloves out of the head of garlic. Cook Free or Die. I love to c...

Cook Free or Die: Pork and Green Chilis ... Chili-type Dish

http://cookfreeordie.blogspot.com/2008/06/green-chili.html

Pork and Green Chilis . Chili-type Dish. We looked at a couple of different recipes to get some ideas. Some were really heavy on dry spice, they all seemed to use chicken stock and "enchilada sauce" and we wanted to use as little premixed/premade as possible. The rest is our modified recipe for it. We thought about getting jalapenos or serranoes for it, but we decided to get the flavor down and then adjust the heat later. Next time we will add some more HEAT. 1 1/2 lbs. tomatillos - peeled and diced.

Cook Free or Die: Easy Sausage and Cheese Ravioli with Tomato Sauce

http://cookfreeordie.blogspot.com/2008/06/easy-sausage-and-cheese-ravioli-with.html

Easy Sausage and Cheese Ravioli with Tomato Sauce. When I think of summer food, I don't really think of Ravioli, but we had some sausage and cheese we needed to use up, as well as a couple of eggs. I have a basic pasta recipe that I use to make pasta for spaghetti, fettucine, or ravioli. 3 Cups All-purpose flour. 4 Extra large eggs. 2 Tablespoons olive oil. A pinch of salt. 4 Pre-cooked chicken sausage. 1 Can of crushed tomatos. 1/4 Cup sun-dried tomato paste. 1/2 Diced white onion. 1 In a food processor...
