It is a poignant picture of the Incarnation – of God reaching down to a scared and broken young girl, reaching into her heart and coming to stay. Isn’t this our story too? God coming to us in the flesh to fill our scared and broken lives with hope anew, found only in Him. The songwriter comments in one interview.
