This one is very simple, but it is my favorite from childhood. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 1 can (20 ounces) sliced pineapple. 1/8 C pineapple juice. 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix. Pour butter and pineapple juice into a well-greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Drain pineapple. Arrange pineapple slices in prepared pan; sprinkle with brown sugar. Prepare cake batter according to package directions; pour over pineapple.
