A dab will do or hell, use the whole bottle! Tuesday, October 30, 2007. A Love Affair to Remember. Sage and Pork are in a torrid love affair. When I cook pork, I mainly use rubbing sage as the meat rub. It adds a flavor that can't go wrong. And another lover of sage is cornbread. Add a touch of sage to the mix. and a teaspoon of sugar for a more sweeter tasting cornbread. Monday, October 22, 2007. In the next few posts, I will add a few of my own sweet recipes that include curry. He saw a fork up ahead.
Cooking Sherrie: Coffee Rub
http://cookingsherrie.blogspot.com/2008/07/coffee-rub.html
A dab will do or hell, use the whole bottle! Wednesday, July 9, 2008. The dark and toasty undertones from the coffee in this dry rub pair well with dark meats. Any freshly ground coffee beans will work; choose dark roast for the biggest coffee flavor or a lighter roast if you’re looking for something a little more subtle. Use on: Chicken thighs, duck, beef, lamb. Makes about 1 cup. TOTAL TIME: 5 minutes. EASE OF PREPARATION: Easy. 1/2 cup finely ground coffee. 1/4 cup coarsely ground pepper.

Coloring my world with adjectives, adverbs and the occasional expletive! Thursday, August 20, 2009. Hot time in the City. Boy has time flew by! I can't believe I let so many weeks, days, hours and minutes past without writing. I really thought that once the reunion was over I would have more time to write. Well, in ways I did have more time but in other ways I didn't. My work load for the last few months has been very strenuous. A good thing in this age of digital photography! Also saw "Mama Mia! This we...

Coloring my world with adjectives, adverbs and the occasional expletive! Monday, November 22, 2010. Picture I took of the small bath and a table. The table that broken fridge is one was once inside the house. Now it's ruined. Oh and the fridge is broken. Probably why that jerk left it. The bath is an example of what I was left to clean up. A sad way to be I think. but I confess. It's my retreat away from things. This has been a most difficult year. Ever since April, we've been discussing closing the ...

Coloring my world with adjectives, adverbs and the occasional expletive! Wednesday, April 08, 2009. Tonight was the first time I've spent hours reading in total silence in a long time. I had things to do; chores, laundry, etc but it is really cold tonight. So I grabbed a blanket and crawled into my semi-new recliner and read until 11 pm! I must say I am pleased with my heels. They really are the best and they've worked hard to get there. Take a bow guys, you deserve it. Monday, April 06, 2009. He was pri...

The usual bullshit that we all give when we let time go by before we visit a good friend. This blog has always been here for me.to vent, to laugh, to cry and to write cheezy poetry. A sad way to be I think. but I confess. It's my retreat away from things. Work from home and see where it goes I guess. While he was gone, I had to deal with his...

Coloring my world with adjectives, adverbs and the occasional expletive! Thursday, November 19, 2009. Where did October get too? Ya know.I think about writing but it doesn't get past the thought very often of late. I sneak in and read blogs when I can, which isn't very often of late. My words feel as if they aren't mine when I try to write, except the Children's Novel I'm doing for NaNoWriMo.org. But that's "Child Play.". Then I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. It seemed so real. In October, we alm...
