Recipes, projects and products that don't suck. Carrot Cake Protein Bars (vegan, gf). January 17, 2013. Remember our friends, J and A. And the baby shower. I threw for them back in November? Well they’ve barely been in their new home for four weeks and guess who decided to make his way into the world two weeks early? Yep, their baby BOY! Isn’t he so cute? Everyone is healthy and happy and doing great. Under his little cap is a full head of blonde hair. Just look at those cheeks! Congratulations, J and A!
VeganFling: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
http://veganfling.blogspot.com/2012/08/pumpkin-chocolate-chip-cookies.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. I'm not really sure if I should call these cookies or not. The consistency makes them more like cake or muffins. When my family tried them we were brainstorming some new names: cakelets, muffies, and cakies were all tossed around. Whatever you call them, they are delicious! I know what treat I'll be making over and over again this fall. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. Makes 2 dozen cookies, adapted from carla's confections. 15 C all purpose flour.

And right now we all know we can’t wait for Spring. I love the sunshine and the longer days and the tulips and the daffodils! And did I mention the sunshine? Tuesday March 20, 2012 is the first day of Spring this year! I think we should all throw Spring parties and make lemon poppyseed muffins! Lemon Poppyseed is perfect. Ev...
