Rebecca's Kitchen: April 2011

http://cookingwithrebecca.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 9, 2011. This recipe is for my brother, who is trying to make his lovely girlfriend a satisfying, (easy), vegetarian meal. This is one of my absolute favorites, because not only does it fulfill all of those demands, but also because it doesn't have a large ingredient list, which can get expensive, and it is so filling. I hope you like this, Kim! 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil. 1 tablespoon Bragg's Liquid Aminos (by vinegars and salad dressings). 1 can chickpeas, drained. With obesity...

Rebecca's Kitchen: March 2013

http://cookingwithrebecca.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 8, 2013. There's something that happens to me when my hubby goes on tour for long periods of time. I get baking. I want/NEED/crave sweet comfort foods. That's why you saw the orange cake so recently and now you're seeing doughnuts. I just need. That extra something. (Honey, COME HOME! In truth, I just made these so I had. To sample, and eat off the extra edges, and quality check! Baking is soooo hard! 2 1/2 cups almond flour. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 3 tsp poppy seeds. 1 tsp lemon juice. But I ...

Saturday, August 3, 2013. The Best Banana Bread Ever. Some things that are naughty can actually be made nice. Really! If you have some old, ugly looking bananas, don't throw them away. Those are the sweetest bananas and make a totally awesome bread. Try it for yourself! 4 very ripe bananas, mashed. 1/3 c coconut oil. 1/2 c coconut flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp baking powder. And you won't believe that there's no sugar, flour etc. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Is that really a treat? I want to sha...

Auntie Bee Says...: January 2010

http://sorensilly.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 11, 2010. Let me get this straight: Today, for Annika and MAMA day, you want to play salon and tell me to be the SALON LADY so that you can pretend you HAVE NO MOMMY and ask THE SALON LADY to be your new MOMMY. But we had a great time doing fingernails, hair, makeup, and applying random liquids with bits of cotton. She did my makeup and hair afterward. I smell like a watermelon, after having been the recipient of half a bottle of tangle-free spray. :) she likes to spray stuff.

Auntie Bee Says...: November 2010

http://sorensilly.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. And Fourth of July! I have no excuse for not updating. We've had a blast of wonderful and photogenic events since this last volcano. I could smugly say that I just have better things to do than update my blog, but we all know that's not entirely true. I HAVE been trying to stay off of facebook, which basically means keeping my laptop shut. So that's kinda part of it. Then we met up with Grandma (Williamina Shakespeare! And hit the Fall Festival at North Haven Church.

Monday, March 29, 2010. A Long Time Ago.in a Galaxy Far Far Away. The Sorensens went to MEXICO! Yikes That feels like a very long time ago. We enjoyed ourselves immensely! My parents generously welcomed us to their timeshare in Puerto Vallarta and even gave CJ and me the master suite! Eric's favorite thing in Mexico was "getting pumbled", which is when he and CJ stand at the shore and let the waves crash on them. Eric needed his daddy to hold him up; the break was severe! It was a blast. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Thursday, April 22, 2010. We went to Lakewood Hills Park for Earth Day and we picked up trash. But the most eye-opening item we found was a fast-food hamburger bun. It was just sitting on the ground in perfect form. No animal would venture to nibble on that thing. This is my swee...

Marathon Training Plan | Running, Eating and Living with Leah

https://ltheorin.wordpress.com/marathon-training-plan

Running, Eating and Living with Leah. A blog for those passionate about running, great food, health and fashion. This is the training plan that I followed for my second marathon. It worked for me, but I’m not promising it will work for everyone. The important thing to remember when training for something is to listen to your body. And to definitely give it rest! Intermediate 16-week Marathon Training plan Sheet1. Just a few more notes:. If you have never run a marathon before I would follow this plan but...

However, I came across this recipe from my Cooking Light magazine from 1999 last week.yes, I save all my old cooking magazines! I'm a cooker, not a fighter. Monday, 16 May 2011. It's actually surprisingly easy to make burgers, as I learned. All you need to do is put the mince in a bowl and mix it with egg and a little flour. You have to use your hands to shape the burger, which is kind of disgusting, as this picture bears adequate testimony. Ugh Anyway, upon Jacob's advice (did I mention that he KNOWS about cooking?
