PB4UGO: Whoot! Got an extra day of work!

http://cowmomba.blogspot.com/2015/07/whoot-got-extra-day-of-work.html

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Got an extra day of work! I got back the pants I had sent the twins. They said cotton was too hot, too heavy, and stayed wet too long. They failed to warn me to open the box outside. I may be airing the house for days! I best remember to take them clean clothes to wear in the car when we go get them. and have them at least sponge bathe before we get into the vehicle with them. The pungency of the clothes alone made my eyes water! Due in December 2016).

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Friday, December 19, 2014. I've never done well with dealing with disappointment. At my age, you'd think I'd be a pro. Ben and Paula aren't going to get to come. Vehicle problems. I know you don't take off across three states with a vehicle making bad sounds. (Unless you are Jack Wilson. but that's another story! Meanwhile, Mr C and I fixed my Dyson! It really sucks now, almost as good as new! AND the problem was diagnosed, so it will CONTINUE to suck. Links to this post.

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Monday, February 23, 2015. For a short month, February has been really long. There is snow predicted this week for the nearest town to where the boys will be starting the AT hike. I am praying that it gets all the snow out of its system before the 9th! In other news. Benjamin graduates Firefighter/ EMT school on April 2nd! He will be a bona fide Firefighter rotating regular shifts at the San Angelo Fire Department. Way to go, Benjamin! Links to this post. ANYWAY. Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. I have a matter I ask you all to pray with me about. I haven't got to see Grandson 1.3 in six years. Neither have grandchildren 1.1 and 1.2 seen their brother in this time. Anyway, finances have been REALLY tight, and we have a major cross country trip we MUST make- to pick up the twins in Maine. Mr C says I can't afford to have Camp CowGranny this year. especially with needing to go to East Texas on the 18th. I want to see my grandkids. together!

PB4UGO: I would rather not set a new record on bad years...

http://cowmomba.blogspot.com/2015/07/i-would-rather-not-set-new-record-on.html

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Sunday, July 19, 2015. I would rather not set a new record on bad years. 2012 has my permission to hold the all time title for the rest of my life. But this week is stacking up as a Very. Bad. Week. My BFF Angie's daughter Katrina was killed in a car accident Friday morning. Trina was 21- would of been 22 in November. Saturday night Mom got a call from her brother in California- their niece's son was found passed away in his bed. (Debby). My mom and I had a few chuckles. I...

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Friday, January 30, 2015. Seems like life is really picking up steam, headed towards our "empty nest". I sort of want to drag my heels and dig in and say "NOOOO! But that is hardly fair to anyone, is it? Kids grow up and leave home. That's the way God planned things. We had more than the American average number of kids, spread over more years than the average family. so here I am in my mid 50's, preparing for the last of the kids to spread their wings and fly! I was sad. B...

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Thursday, July 23, 2015. PSA: Driving Etiquette/ Turn signals. Perhaps just too much is going on in my normally placid life. I went to visit my friend Cindi this morning- her birthday is tomorrow, and I wouldn't have another opportunity to see her until we return from getting our intrepid trail hikers. Then, brake lights, and the guy turns right, into a construction site. Oooo-Kaaay! I know why he was going at a strolling pace down the highway. Links to this post. A niece, and...

Home Is Where Your Herd Is. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. It's a rainy day, It's a rainy day! It's raining outside and I can't go out and play. That was one of Bill Joe's favorite Sesame Street songs. It IS a rainy day here. I am not sure when we last remembered to empty the rain gauge- but it had five inches in it just now, and it's a steady downpour. The radar indicates a long, long band of storms, crossing us mostly lengthwise. So, I am not out walking today. Didn't walk yesterday or Monday. Truth's Cookin...

Cooking With the Connerleys. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Recipe #22 and Becca's 27th Birthday. April 24th, 2012 (and 8-25-11). Fruit Pizza (page 133). One of my good friends from college, actually one of my first friends from college, Becca and her husband Milam recently moved just a couple of blocks down from us. We love it! She did awesome, too!
